"Immense room! Felt very luxurious as do the super wide corridors. It was spotless and comfortable. Staff amazing. Would have liked a bit of mood lighting in the bathroom so my soak in the tub could be more relaxing, but that’s a minor point :) Also there was an uncollected room service tray outside our door when we arrived at our room, which I guess could have been put there by another guest. Gutted I didn’t bring my swimmers to use the pool!"

"Slight misty smell in reception - probably due to hot weather and drainage . Rooms very clean but dates these days . Coffee at breakfast has to be black with milk unless paying extra for cappuccino or latte etc . Breakfast food selection was good. Was expecting the room to have a coffee machine , or more upper class coffee bags ."

"Our room was wonderful and the hotel was the perfect base for our trip, but the breakfast set up was awful. Food running out, cutlery and plates, running out. Massive queues for the coffee machines etc it was chaos. For such a big hotel, it needs to be better organised. Also, when we were there they were showing one of the England games in the bar, which we were really pleased about but the bar is tiny, the screen seemed smaller than the one we had in our room and the sound was off!! The staff have showed excellent initiative realising we might prefer a twin room as we checked in and making the necessary changes to allow this. In the restaurant and at breakfast the staff showed similar mindsets pre-empting anything we might need, resolving any questions without any fuss and were friendly and approachable.
