"We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. "The room was clean overall; dusty fan amd extremely bad smell in the balcony (I don't know if it is from hotel or from nearby area). That really made the stay unpleasant. Our room was extremely dated and photographs shown on expedia didn't capture our room. It has very old looking furtinuture and textured ceiling. No Air conditioning but the fan was pretty good. "Stayed here over the bank holiday as a family of 4. The hotel itself is nice and the outside space is green and relaxing. However, we were given a very hot top-floor room during 28°C weather, with no air conditioning and windows that barely opened. The fan provided did not help and none of us could sleep.
