"Clean room 21 thank you. Taps could be improved. Flush mechanism in toilet poor. Requires new fill valve to allow correct amount of water in to give a reliable flush. Not good for 2 days stay!"

"This is a wonderful property with lots of historic charm and stunning scenery right on the doorstep! I stayed 4 nights and Karen really looked after me; delicious cooked breakfast each morning and a newly lit fire in the evenings to sit beside. She gave me a tour of her gorgeous garden and introduced me to her feathered friends; the chickens, cockerel and pheasant as well as her lovely dogs. "The rooms were luxuriously furnished and the hotel overall is very cosy and welcoming. Staff couldn;t do enough to help and the attention to detail was fantastic, everything from bags for walking boots to fresh milk on the landing for in room tea and coffee. A bottle of speciality beer in the room was a bonus."
