Memmo Alfama is truly a hidden gem. The terrace/restaurant had a million dollar view overlooking Alfama, paired with amazing food and drinks. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had what we needed. The location was perfect for our stay, so close to so many major landmarks and allowed us to walk to pretty much anywhere we needed to go. The room was so clean, we got the partial ocean view balcony and it was truly magical. I cannot say enough for much we love this hotel, we will definitely return in the future. Overall the hotel claims 4 stars but it definitely deserves 5 stars.

Great hotel - Great location to go to castle (around the corner). Great location for all excursions we participated in. Great view of the river. Would like a little more up to date gym equipment.

The staff are super friendly and helpful really cant do enough to please, the hotels terrace is tranquil and relaxing especially after a morning sightseeing

Great hotel. Room & bth very nice, roof deck is phenomenal, staff helped us with restaurant suggestions and breakfast was great ( because we hadn’t pre-booked it it was 20 extra).

Très bel hôtel typique avec un excellent déjeuner servi ( choix d’oeuf et omelettes comme au restaurant ). Chambre un peu petite mais c’est ça dormir directement dans le secteur Amalfa!

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly….Breakfast was amazing. We would definitely return to this property. Cannot empathize enough how great the staff is. One suggestion: if you have a lot of luggage choose one of the larger rooms. We were fine with one large suitcase but would have been challenging.

Great views, excellent tapas and wine. Rooms are small but well outfitted and the beds and linens are very comfortable. Opt for the morning breakfast.

Absolute Empfehlung für Lissabon. Der wohl schönste Ausblick von Alfama, tolles Frühstück, tolle Weine und ein kleines, aber sehr feines Zimmer. Es ist ein denkmalsaniertes Haus und ja, in den Mansardenzimmern ist die Aussicht „zugemauert“ und man muss erst auf den kleinen Austritt steigen, hat dann dafür aber einen so tollen Blick, dass es unverschämt ist, sich darüber zu beschweren. Die einzelnen Zimmerkategorien werden gut beschrieben und wir hatten einen rundum angenehmen Aufenthalt. Würde immer wieder zurückkommen. Der ganze Vibe des Hotels könnte für 5 Sterne durchgehen. Perfekt für eine Erkundung der Stadt und der Umgebung und eine absolute Empfehlung!

To expensive for what you get. Tiny room. No wndow
We arrive late afternoon and we had to park on the street. Elevator was broken so we had to go to the 3rd floor by stairs. Manager didn’t offer us any discount because of this.

Wir hatten ein Terrassenzimmer. Betten gut alles sehr sauber. Bad sehr sehr klein. Für größere, gewichtigere Gäste wird es noch enger. Personal sehr freundlich. Im Frühstücksraum eignete sich für uns nur der grosse normale Tisch zum bequemen sitzen. Ansonsten gibt es Barmöbel (siehe Hotelbeschreibung), die nicht sehr bequem waren. Man sitzt sehr tief mit niedrigen Tischen. Gerade für Gäste mit körperlichen Einschränkungen u. E. wenig geeignet. Frühstücksbüffet würde immer aufgefüllt. Über Karte könnte man eine Vielzahl von weiteren Speisen bestellen (kostenfrei) wie Rührei, Omelette etc. Ansonsten ein sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr guter Lage und Blick auf den Tejo.

Definitely going back
Great property in the heart of Alfama. Friendly staff, great food and beverages. We got a room with a terrace and walked out to what is probably the best view in the city. A little tight driving to get down the alleyway to the hotel, but the staff found us a free spot for our early departure. You really have to stay here. I can't do the view justice - just spectacular.

Just ok
It was ok - rooms are tiny given the price I was expecting at least a descent sized room. If we had any luggage aside from a carry on then we would have had issues getting it into the room. Bar staff were so slow and when we asked for help with the umbrella after waiting 20 mins we just did it ourselves. Def not premium service.

A really lovely modern boutique hotel. It's rooftop tapas bar is very special and overlooks the old City and the cruise port. Staff were great, public areas and rooms are new and kept in pristine condition. It's also very quiet despite its location, which is a 10 minute walk to the best parts of the City for dining and shopping. We recommend this delightful hotel wholeheartedly.
