the only thing good about this hotel is the location. it is very hard to find, and you have to go through a souvenir store to enter the property. it is basic at best but for the price there are better options in the area

o banheiro tinha um cheiro horrível de esgoto, e um degrau que mais parece um degrau assassino, cai por duas vezes, e na primeira bati a mão . Conclusão acabei de sair do hospital, estou com frátura no dedo esquerdo, olha o presente , isso porque fiquei poucas horas. A localização é perfeita, mas nem para dormir uma noite eu aconselho. As escadas outro problema, um horror, um horror. Não recomendo jamais. Um cheiro no banheiro, que de manhã, não consegui tomar banho com cheiro de esgoto

The downside of the room is the NOISE coming from the busy street! The big windows is single glass and has no vedation on the corners, you gonna hear everything from the busy street until 2am!

Amazing location on one of the main streets!

Perfect location, you can walk to everything. we got an text message from them with the codes for the main door and our room door plus if yuo had any questions there is a receptionist there as well. kitchen with everything you need if you want to make your own food and several bathrooms which are clean and have shampoo and towels that you are free to use. if you dont have any problem with the walls are a little bit thin and sharing bathrooms with other guests as well then this is the perfect place to stay in lisbon

A estadia não aconteceu, porque o aspecto do local em questão não correspondia em nada ao que vi quando fiz a reserva . Pelo que tive que procurar uma alternativa sendo que ainda por cima ia acompanhada pelo meu filho. Malgré l’appréhension d’arriver à l’hostel après avoir lu les différents commentaires, nous avons été surprises par la propreté et la convivialité du lieu. En effet, nous avons été bien accueillies par les hôtes qui ont été aux petits soins tout au long du séjour. Du à l’emplacement idéalement situé de l’hostel dans une des rues principales de la ville, quelques bruits sont à prendre en compte sans que cela ne soit désagréable pour autant. Enfin, l’auberge offre toutes les commodités afin de se sentir comme chez soit. Nous recommandons vivement cette auberge.

Brilliant base for exploring Lisbon

Everything about this hostel is pretty standard, and you get everything you would expect. Its clean, the rooms are a little cramped but generally comfortable, and there is room for private storage. The greatest thing about this place, though, is its location. Located smack bang in the centre of the Rua Augusta, in downtown district of Baixa, it is the perfect place to explore Baixa, Alfama and the Barrio Alto, which are all within easy walking distance. Its also only a five minute walk to Cais do Sodre station where you can get to Belem or Cascais/Estrodil quickly and cheaply. Simply an excellent location to base yourself for a Lisbon excursion. Plus its very, very affordable.

A very noisy place

Beliggenheden burde være perfekt, men den vedvarende støj døgnet rundt , gjorde det til et helvede at sove ordentligt ud til gaden, i et klaustrofobisk lille rum med 6 senge og ingen luft! Kan desværre ikke anbefales!!

“Good location, average/ very poor hotel.”

I stayed here in April 2014. It's a 02 minute walking to Praça da Figueira and Rossio, close to the bus station, so the location is really great. The room and bathroom was incredibly small, even for a European hotel. The free WiFi was not working at any point in the room nor the kitchen, only at reception ( that is not exactly a reception). Free breakfast is not so good, they are not polite as they inform only one tost and one cofe or tea each guest. The rooms does not have keys nor lockers to leave your luggages. Front desk staff were not friendly, they don´t know how to explain the places where you want to visit, don´t have any suggesting of sights to see and how to get to them. The rooms are very noisy as the main street is Av. Augusta, so, late at night you can hear people talking and laughing while sleeping. I don't think I would stay at this hotel again, but it was alright for the price we paid

Near perfect location & fits the cheapo's budget!

Nice, central, safe place to stay! bargain price for dorms makes it a winner. Breakfast was a treat with rich coffee to start off your day.

Hintaan nähden ihan 10+ arvoinen pieni ja siisti hostelli. Meillä oli 2hlö huone, näin tammikuussa hieman viileä sisällä mutta meille myös tarjottiin lisälämmitintä. Saimme myös extrapeiton pyynnöstä. Käytössä siisti yhteiskeittiö, aamupala kuuluu hintaan (kahvi, tee, mehu, toast). Oikein mukava ja avulias henkilökunta. Hävitin kalliin kelloni sekä kaveri laturin ja molemmat löytyivät vastaanotosta. Ainut miinus (joka ei sekään suuri) oli huono äänieristys (käytävän/kadun äänet kuuluivat huoneeseen) mutta sekin ongelma ratkaistiin korvatulpilla. Hostellin sijainti aivan loistava, ratikka/bussipysäkeille muutaman minuutin matka sekä metro Baixa-Chiado 5min päässä (lentokentältä about puolituntia). Kaikki shoppailupaikatkin ihan lähellä. Ei voi kun suositella!

La situación es inmejorable, en el centro de la Baixa de Lisboa. Pero lo primero que sorprende es que hay que acceder a través de una tienda de souvenir. Hay dos baños compartidos y una cocina donde dan un desayuno aceptable y cada uno puede hacerse su comida si quiere. La terraza es un patio de luces bastante pequeño y feo. Las habitaciones no están insonorizadas como se anuncia, de hecho, dormir una siesta es complicado si no tienes tapones para los oídos. No hay aparcamiento en el hostel y lo más cercano son los parking de pago en la Plaza de Figueira y Restauradores. O bien, buscar algún otro sitio de aparcamiento de pago. Yo no vi ninguna zona de ordenadores aunque sí hay wifi gratis. No había calefacción en la habitación pero nos pusieron un radiador eléctrico.
