A pleasant surprise

We had a great stay at this boutique hotel. Reception staff were very helpful and attentive. They helped us with booking dinner reservations at restaurants nearby. As a guest, we got lake access at the day beds. Also we got premium seating with the amazing view. The room was clean and breakfast buffet was nice. Highly recommend!

Best hotel in Lake Como

After having visited lake Como for 3 consecutive years this hotel has undoubtedly been our favorite. The restaurant, the Wakesurf facilities, sunbed area is all amazing. The staff is even better and super friendly. We miss it already and cannot wait to come back!

The room we had was right on the water with a beautiful view of Lake Como. The hotel had a separate building for dinner which was very good. Breakfast and lunch were in the main building. We enjoyed our stay at his hotel.

Best place to stay for your Lake Como visit

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Villa Aurora while Lezzeno was our base during our visit to the Lake Como region. The family owned hotel and restaurant have a lovely waterside location and offered top-notch, friendly customer service. There is parking available as well as self service laundry. The food at the restaurant was fabulous - we ate there twice! We highly recommend staying at this property!!

The resort was lovely looking out over the lake. Convenient easy walk to the ferry to visit any towns on the lake. Great restaurant on the property and the breakfast was outstanding with everything you could imagine wanting to be offered. Laundry facilities at the property were very convenient. We were in Lezzeno for 3 nights. The hotel was good location. We had an amazing view of the lake with a balcony. It was worth the money. Lots to do for families at the hotel. Unfortunately if you are looking for nightlife There is none. After dinner you can hang out at the hotel.

It is situated in Lezzeno, which is lovely, quaint and the hotel is beautiful. Really friendly staff. Restaurant was bistro was good. Pizza is amazing. There is a convenience store close by and a lovely osteria. Not far from taxi boat jetti and bus stops. Only inconvenience is taxi boats aren’t as frequent and you end up arriving back by 6/7 pm. However really lovely and very restful. We had a lake view room, stunning views and great to watch the sunset and sunrise. Hotel guests can also sunbathe on edge of lake if you want to catch a tan in the summer months. Altogether would highly recommend. This was our second stay in Como and first time at the Aurora, close enough to visit, Lenno, Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio etc. bus ride to Bellagio approx 30 mins.

Lake Como

Beautiful property right on lake Como. We had a room overlooking the lake - beautiful and comfortable accommodations. The restaurant is amazing, also right on the lake. We had lunch and dinner there and the food was excellent. Breakfast in the hotel was included and was very tasty with lots of different options. We took a ferry between different towns of lake Como and it was very convenient. Ferry terminal is only few minutes walk from the hotel, and is a great way to see the towns of lake Como. You can hop on and off the boat, spending time in one town and continuing on without worrying about parking.

A beautiful spot with gorgeous views of the lake and extremely friendly and accommodating staff! A last minute change to our travel plans meant we arrived later than expected, around the time the kitchen was closing - the staff pre-ordered us a delicious lasagna to ensure we had something for dinner, and helped us get set up in our room for the night. We woke up the next morning to an INCREDIBLE view of the lake, and a wonderful breakfast spread. A local bike race meant that the main road and ferries were unaccessible to us during our stay, but staff advised us of a lakeside walk and cozy stone beach area just up the road. A bit dangerous to walk on the road with the winding turns and traffic, but once we were down by the lake it was a peaceful walk with more great views to take in. Food at the restaurant was delicious, and the terrace was beautiful. Only criticism would be that we shared the space with a wakeboarding competition which took up most of the private deck and lounge chairs during our stay, but it did not take away from an overall excellent experience. When we had trouble getting to our next destination the next day due to more road closures, staff went above and beyond to help get us where we needed to go. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay on the Lake!
