Wonderful. This hotel is virtually at the top of a mountain and close to Mount Vesuvius.
Beautiful views. The pool is lovely with a snack bar next to the pool. There is a small shop next to the hotel. A lovely stay. Staff are very helpful.
Very beautiful and lovely hotel with very friendly staff😊

Liked: Cleanliness
The property has beautiful views and rooms. However, the bathrooms are extremely small. There’s a lack of dining options. The food and the service is subpar. If you stay there, I highly suggest to get a rental car because a one-way from Naples to San Lorenzo is between 120-200 euros.
Good property with spectacular views! Nice rooms, hotel has recently undergone a refresh, awesome pool and spa. The only negative thing I can think of is the property is rather remote, you need a car to get around.
Think twice before booking this hotel, especially if you want any relaxation at all. Events were booked every night, obnoxiously loud disco music until past 11 PM every night, zero desire for good customer service and the sauna and spa is a bait and switch… Nothing was available the entire week we were there. Oh, and during events, they close the pool to paying hotel customers of the hotel that was a super pleasant surprise when it was 95° out, this place is terrible if you’re trying to relax.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The hotel itself is amazing and very clean and friendly staff however location is not ideal for tourists especially if you want to travel. Taxis are extortionate so unless you have a car it’s quite difficult to get around.
Great Hotel for a quiet get away. Beautiful grounds with terrific views. The rooms were beautiful, luxurious if you upgraded to a suite.
little isolated in a smaller village. There is a Suttle service fir excursions. Handy for sure.
Helpful cheerful staff.
Amazing hotel high up over looking the bay of Castelemare fantastic views. The staff Rita Valentina claudia and waiting and house keeping staff were always helpful. A car is helpful there are buses direct to the train station and town.Transport trains and buses very cheap. There are limited food outlets and no where to go on the evening also without any English speaking tv channels.

The hotel itself is INCREDIBLE!! The views are magical. My biggest issue is getting to the property; the streets are tiny, the switchback roads and I had such anxiety driving there. There isn’t a lot to do nearby and I didn’t feel like there was any walkability. At night there was an awful smell coming in the rooms and you could hear dogs barking. I don’t know that I’d go back, I’d probably just stay in Sorrento.
Loved this hotel!! Our room had this spectacular view from the balcony where you could watch the sunrise and the sunset. It was so dreamy! One area where they could improve on is providing better options for the breakfast buffet.
This stay was awful. The booking on Expedia has the incorrect information on the booking. It clearly states 26min from amalfi. This hotel is almost 2 HOURS from amalfi in a car. This was a complete scam. Also the room was dirty, there was a wedding going on so we couldn’t use the amenities and we informed Expedia and the agent told us to check out. So we checked out and lost all of our money because they won’t honor a refund. Do not stay here
Location , Location, Location !!
This is our 2nd stay here. Perfect If your visiting Pompeii, Hercalanium, Amalfi Coast, etc Nothing better than returning to this hotel in the evening to unwind and relax & enjoy the views across the bay of Naples to Versuvius and beyond. If you want to stay Italian / Live Italian this Hotel has everything you need. Big thankyou to Mariapia, Valentina, & |Antonio for making our stay so enjoyable and see you all again next year!
No towels in rom, airconditioning not working, kitchen closed and no roomservice - Even if they adverticed it should be..

Pool level of housekeeping
The room was not clean when we arrived, there was hair in the shower and on the bathroom and bedroom floor. We had to ask twice to get housekeeping to clear the bathroom, eventually this was done around 10pm.
The sink would not drain properly and the shower leaked water over the bathroom floor.
I stayed at the San Lorenzo for a few nights after attending a wedding. The hotel unfortunately seems like a complete afterthought and absolutely none of the service or experience was remotely similar to that experienced at their wedding venue.
The room itself was ok but as per the other reviews, the AC wasn’t working. They said they’d send an engineer, that may have happened but we heard no update and it was still faulty so we gave up. Thankfully the weather wasn’t too warm and we left the balcony door open every night but the room would be horrible if the weather was warmer.
I’m astonished this hotel is classed as 4*, the floor was unclean (walking from the bathroom to your bed left dirt and crumbs on your feet) and there was a lot of mould in the shower, very thin towels (like a thick paper towel) and they provided absolutely 2x tiny 20ml bottles of shower gel that doubled as shampoo and never replaced it. The room and balcony area smelled of sewage constantly, which also seemed to be coming from under the bed. The doors made a very loud buzzing sound when you pressed your key card and you had to force the door open sharply to get in-so much in fact that when others opened their doors in our corridor our own door burst open from the vibrations several times. Not great if you’re sleeping or have left the room during the day and not nice being woken up by the noise from others.
We asked for an iron and were given one with loads of electrical tape in the cable and it pr
Struttura nuova e pulita ..personale gentile colazione abbondante ...luogo tranquillo e vista mozzafiato.
