"NB: we ended up at Edit just as a major storm warning was issued. The whole town was battered and power was out for 2.5 days. Edit has a backup generator, which powered the restaurant, shared spaces, heating etc. We were well catered for and staff put in extra hours to keep us comfortable. Roads were closed so fresh staff couldnt get in or out. Edit Hanmer went above and beyond during difficult times."

"Motels were well back off a quiet side street and close to thermal pools, so quiet, older style motel with plenty of character and plenty of room and nice lounge chairs, a well cared for property, even the windows were nice and clean and a lovely outlook to the mountains nearby, Simone was the perfect host keeping our room nicely serviced each day."

"The room is very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Attractive interior design furnishings with a contemporary modern feel. Equipped with everything you need for an overnight stay. Tea and coffee making facilities, dressing gown and slippers and complimentary shower gel and shampoo. Very spacious bathroom with two sinks, large spa bath and two showers in a large cubicle! Loads of space in the bed room to move about in, a living area with fire and TV as well as a table and chairs to eat...
