Stay at the hotel was great, the location is ideal - the best in Meribel-Mottaret, the dishes in the restaurant are really delicious.
I will definitely visit the hotel next season.
Lovely Alpine hotel. Amazing skiing after a 24” snowfall ❄️. Rooms are small but have adequate storage allowing you to stow your bags to free up floor space. Bar, restaurant and petite dejeuner were necessary as there are few restaurants in the immediate area. The food in the restaurants was well prepared and servers attentive. Everyone working at the hotel was helpful and friendly.
The worst service I have ever received in my life anywhere in the world! Ripped off and bad feeling the manager is the rudest person I have ever spoken too!I don’t advise anyone to book this hotel you will loose your money.
This was our first time to Alpen Rutior and found it to be just perfect. A small personable hotel with I believe only 44 rooms, but this makes it all the more perfect as it's intimate and friendly, nothing is too much effort and everyone is so helpful
We tried everything - restaurant, bar, brasserie, spa, lounge. The service was faultless and spotlessly clean everywhere
They also have great arrangement with the ski rental shop right next door
Location is fantastic with a very short walk to the base of 3 major ski lifts taking you off to the various directions of the 3 valleys ski area
We loved the in house entertainment on our first evening, with Gemain's soulful guitar playing and singing whilst being offered a glass of Cremant or Argentinian wine
We were very pleasantly surprised to hear the Fenestraz Group own quite a few other establishments, in various different places around the world
Definitely worth checking out if this is their standard to go by .
Look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you Caroline & David
The staff here was friendly, cheerful, and knowledgeable
about the resort. The rooms are small so many guests enjoy hanging out in the lounge area where there is a TV, games for kids, and food/beverage service. I would stay here again.
We were disrupted by the coronavirus, but the hotel staff could not have been friendlier or taken more steps to look after us. We will definitely book again next year.
Lovely, comfortable hotel with very courteous, helpful staff. Homemade afternoon cakes were delicious but felt that coffee/tea should have been offered with this, rather than having to pay for it - cost would have been minimal to the hotel. Location was perfect with doorstep skiing and easy access to both Courchevel and Val Thorens. Would definitely recommend it and possibly return in future.
Perfect ski-in ski-out location in the middle valley of the three valleys, which is an excellent spot for exploring the area. Each room has a ski storage locker inside the hotel that also has boot warmers. The staff is friendly and attentive. Breakfast is tasty and you can make sandwiches to take away to the slopes. The pies that they serve every day from 3:30 to 5:30 are a nice touch after a long day skiing. And the hot tub and sauna were never crowded. The restaurant was tasty, and there is easy walking access to a number of other options if you are staying for a few days.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Not value for money
The hotel overall needs improvements. The hammam was not working and the room was too old fashion. There was no coffee maker in the room and no mini bar. Not even a bottle of water when we arrived. The restaurant's menu selection was poor (no pasta, fish etc)
The area is excellent for skiing.
Traditional Savoie hotel with lots of wood and soft furnishings to rest your weary bones at the end of a hard day on the slopes. Smack bang in the middle of the Three Valleys, at Meribel-Mottaret, this hotel is truly ski-in-ski-out with access to three lifts from which you can explore Courchevel, Val Thoren, Meribel, St Martin & Les Meneuires. We had a lovely slope view room which while not overly large, was well thought out and plenty of storage to dry kit at the end of the day. Free ski & boot locker downstairs means your boots are dry every morning. Lovely bathroom - amazing bath! Breakfast great and we booked half board. Every night there is a 5 course gourmet meal and the Chef has an amazingly light touch - this is food well done with emphasis on fresh produce and not too much interference just to showcase the splendid ingredients - this is not the usual 'hotel' food you would expect. There are restaurants nearby but from our experience, they did not better the hotel;s food and ambience.
All in all a great place to stay as staff very professional and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My only complaint is that we leave in two days time! Definitely recommend.
What a lovely hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing and the food served is excellent. The location is hard to beat as the lifts are on the door step. We had a very enjoyable stay.
Had a fantastic stay. Staff were friendly and helpful from the very first moment. The room was great. Loved the breakfasts, and the cakes for afternoon tea. The location was perfect for access to the slopes as well as the local bars, restaurants and ski hire (would recommend Ski 2000).
