"Overall, I had a great experience (6 nights) at the Stay KooooK in Leipzig! The bed and bedding were super comfortable, and I slept very well. I thought the shower setup was a bit odd at first - mine opened up straight into the bedroom about 2 feet from the head of the bed - but ventilation was really good and I didn't notice any problem at all with moisture, etc. The kitchen was super convenient to have available, and there is plenty of room for guests to sit around and eat or socialize. Even though I didn't do much socializing, I appreciate the spaciousness and options re: places to sit and chat or relax. There is a nice rooftop deck, and a really delightful small library on the top floor. The laundry machines were convenient and in good working order. The central location really can't be beat - very easy to get to major transit lines, easy to walk to good restaurants or attractions. I don't know about the other rooms, but mine was smaller than expected in terms of not having any space other than the bed itself to open my suitcase! In the U.S., I kind of live out of my suitcase when I travel and there is usually somewhere easy to access it frequently. Here (might be a European thing) it's kind of more like a boat cabin feeling, where you have to hang things off the wall to access. I do wish they had a separate app for the keys, as it was a little annoying to have to dig through WhatsApp or my browser to get to the website every time. But for sure would come again!"
"Lovely hotel. Staff are so welcoming and helpful and the rooms are a good size with comfy bed and excellent amenities.
Breakfast was also excellent and when you consider that this is included in your room rate it’s whole place becomes quite remarkable value for money"
"The hotel, location, staff and amenities were all excellent! My room was very spacious with a balcony door which can help with some much needed fresh air. Bed was super comfy too.
I'd give this hotel 5 stars but will give 4. With some on-site laundry facilities and a mini fridge in my room, I'd have easily given it a 5 star rating.
If you don't need those features, go for this hotel! Very recommended. :)"
"El cuarto estuvo super bien. Lo único malo es que no tiene aire acondicionado pero ellos te dejan un ventilator y eso ayuda mucho. Además las ventanas se abren completamente y puedes abrirlar si prefieres. No hay receptionists por lo tanto nadie te ayudará, solo debes comprender el sistema y funcionara super bien. Elgar es limpio y estuvo bien quedarse alli"
"Quirky hotel - very modern design with lime green everywhere. Room was shall we say different. Shower right next to the bed and full glass so might be a bit awkward depending on who you are sharing the room with. Also had a bath the shape of a stiletto shoe (lime green of course and lit up at night). If you are ok with that then the room was fine. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Short walk to main train station and a tram stops right outside. Would definitely stay here again. Leipzig is a lovely city."
"Very weird hotel.
Asked for a twin room, got one big bed with 2 duvets - apparently that is a twin room .
Bathroom is open to the elements to your room mate can see you shower - there is no privacy at all.
Whoever decided that the shower needed to have you on display to all made a very bad decision.
Wouldn't stay here again just because of that"
