"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...

"Nice and quiet place, property could use some proper cleaning, like the mattress were full of food, when you opened the window there was built up dirt, broken shower door, broken outside furniture, waking up at 4am because the curtains were not dark at all was not pleasant. The room was amazing! The whole place is charming. In the evening we enjoyed a beverage in the courtyard. We dined at the Anthony at the bistro Munk; we very much enjoyed the experience. "The location suited us great as a family stopping in at Utrecht for one night (using the train - the hotel is only a few minutes walk to Utrecht Central Station. You can also walk to the main shopping centre/area within 5 minutes, just watch up for the very fast bikes flying down the bike lanes when crossing them. It was also only a 10 minute walk to Oudegracht. Our room was very clean with a huge walk in shower. I would stay here again "

"Excellent hotel, in a fantastic location for exploring Utrecht. We found it to be very family friendly with games to play in the reception areas and we really enjoyed the tables canalside outside for eating/drinking. We felt safe, looked after and the hotel visually very cool. The breakfast options were 10/10 we will miss it! The evening restaurant food was fab with options for all tastes. Travelling as an Autism family we found the hotel to be super welcoming and inclusive."
