"This hotel has a lovely outside seating area with easy access for some of the rooms. Breakfast is lovely with lots of choice. Our room no8 was perfect for both of us and our dog. Lovely bed, towels and shower etc"

"We stayed at The Green Man after a half day canoeing on the Wye at Symonds Yat. Great location. Check in was really easy and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was great , bed was comfy and had an iron, tea/coffee making facilities with a good range of tea/hot chocolate. Parking is aplenty and we had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent - all four of us cleaned our plates and were really happy with what we ordered. We didn’t have breakfast but can imagine it...

"I don't normally write reviews, but this place was so good, I just wanted to say so. The room was spacious and very good. The staff were friendly and helpful We ate in the pub, a typical pub menu, but the food was fresh, home-cooked and excellent. Really good value for money. If you want to be in this area, then this is the place to stay."

"The Bell is very central to the town making it ideal. As the property is OLD, the stairs in main building are not suitable for elderly people as too steep. Most of the floors in the whole building were sloped and uneven, Room 7, every floor was very sloped, the room was tiny but serviceable enough, No drinking water was provided in the room,but a FAN was ,which was very much needed. The menu we felt was limited for snacks, but prices were equal with the rest of the town. Dogs were allowed...
