We stayed for four nights and had a wonderful experience. We stayed in the suite, which was spacious and very comfortable. The pool area was fantastic, with plenty of large and comfortable sunbeds, and it quickly became our favourite spot during the stay. The food was good, and the lounge area by the bar was perfect for a relaxed lunch, getting some work done, or enjoying an Aperol. What truly made the experience special was the exceptional service. A special thank you to Francesco, who was always cheerful, professional, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. His warm hospitality made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel and would be delighted to return.

Personalen i receptionen var inte särskilt tillmötesgående. Poolen var väldigt smutsig i vattnet och såg inte ut att bli rengjord särskilt ofta, dessutom var pooltiderna med poolstängning kl 19 något märkligt.

Little Oasis

A lovely hotel just 10 minutes drive to Lecce. Out side of the hotel was not that nice but the hotel was a Little Oasis, The bedroom as on the small side with the highest bed I’ll ever had to get into. The staff were very nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Magnifique hôtel

Tout était super. L’hôtel est vraiment magnifique avec son style oriental. L’accueil et le personnel (Betty et Mohamed) sont chaleureux. La nourriture est très bonne. La chambre est spacieuse et bien decorée avec un accès sur un jardin, topissime. J’ai tout aimé. Les photos sur le site ne sont pas représentatives de la beauté de l’hotel

Dark and dreary.

The rooms are dark and dreary. The bathrooms have very little light. Good luck taking a shower. The lounge beds by the pool are uncomfortable and waterlogged. The staff were reasonably pleasant. We left early and went to a good hotel!

My friend and I spent 4 nights at Masseria Luciagiovanni. We each had garden rooms - mine had a large private covered patio with a daybed and sofa for relaxing outdoors. My friend’s room did not have private outdoor space but he had a larger interior - with a king sized bed. We both loved the swimming pool and the friendly staff. Although the hotel is on the edge of town it’s very convenient for parking and driving to the beaches. I would definitely come back.

This place must have been nice 20 years ago, but now is a run down RIAD wanna be, with very old rooms, terrible beds and a horrendous old wood smell in every room (we checked 3 before giving up) The bathrooms smell too, and there is very poor lighting inside the very dark painted rooms. This place looked like a great solution because it’s close to Lecce but not in, and the pictures looked very nice, but please do yourself a favor and stay away from it. The staff was nice enough

Arrival through beautiful tall wood doors, but have to swing wide to get round them in the car - you can’t see what’s coming until you commit to the turn. Drive lined with lovely terracotta pot lamps which were lit at night, signpost directing you to reception isn’t lit - would be helpful if you arrived at night. Warm welcome by receptionist who also showed us round and to our room. Had booked a mezzanine room which was lovely. Bathroom was on the ground floor, the stairs were quite steep, and hubby’s arthritis was playing up. Also difficult if you need the bathroom during the night as room became very dark. Hubby ended up sleeping in the lounge area for safety for the first night. Spoke to Francesco in reception the next morning and he kindly sourced us a fully ground floor room “we want to keep our guests happy!” The rooms are decorated in keeping with the Moroccan style, but are tired and in need of renovation, particularly the terracotta floor tiles which are badly damaged and gouged and are an accident waiting to happen - also in reception area. Wardrobe was dusty. Pool is large and spacious, surrounded by palms, cleaned each day. Site is open to day guests and it was very hot so can become crowded. Luckily we had sussed out the better sunbed re shade and got there early; beds got, no seating position. Pool towels provided. Pool bar nice. Had lunch in restaurant - nice choice. WiFi poor connectivity. Good location though.

tegenvallend verblijf

de kamer (28) rook erg muf, en schimmel op de vloer. ook het hout van de kasten stonk enorm. was tevens behoorlijk stoffig en verf stukken van muren. ontbijt is van 8-10 uur, dus wekker zetten om ontbijt halen. Ontbijt was verder prima en service ook, alleen jammer dat weinig engels spraken. zwembad en de bedden waren heerlijk en schoon. zit wel een stukje uit centrum, zonder auto is geen optie. prijs kwaliteit verhouding is niet goed, moest €1720 betalen voor 1 week en dat is achteraf echt te veel.

Marrokansk måske luksus

Swimmingpool og bålområdet er utroligt lækkert, og god service overalt. Måske gælder det kun værelse 9, men aircondition anlægget larmede helt forfærdigeligt, og jeg vågnede 4 - 6 gange hver nat grundet pludselige mystiske lyde fra anlægget. Den private have var heller ikke særlig god, og virkede mere som et sted, hvor man anbragte skrald, fx stod der en stor udbrændt dobbelt solseng i haven. Og endeligt virkede det som om, at man slet ikke krydrede eller smagte maden til i køkkenet, ligesom det fleste salater blot bestod af iceberg - i Italien? Samlet set virker stedet derfor en anelse til den dyre side.

This was my second time staying at the masseria in two months. I stayed here in July with a friend and returned in September with my mother. In both stays, the staff at this family run hotel was extremely warm and helpful. All of our requests were accommodated. For example, when i needed to use my work computer and could not do to security settings on my laptop, the staff logged me onto the staff wifi rather than the unsecured guest wifi (this is something other hotels refuse to do). The property is beautiful, especially the pool, which is enormous and easy to enter (sloping ground rather than stairs) - important if you’re traveling with older family members. The parking is free and easy - which makes day trips to nearby towns like Gallipoli, Otranto or the beach areas very easy. In the morning there is a generous breakfast buffet with plenty of salty and sweet, healthy or indulgent options. I believe all the rooms have private patio facing the garden or at least garden access - at least the four rooms I saw on my two visits. There is also a nice courtyard where they light a fire pit in September (not in July because it’s too hot). Overall the property has many cozy areas to sit and read a book or do some work on your laptop.
