"Quaint English Inn on the English Channel. Excellent restaurant and bar. Friendly people. Rooms were sparse but comfortable. Our son’s family stayed in rm next door and they has already made up the roll in beds. The surrounding area is interesting but no retail. "

"Lovely rooms for a short stay in Folkestone and a fantastic breakfast. Only small comment would be that in the summer when the day starts really early, the shutters don't really block the light so we were not able to have much of a lie in - although this is personal preference and only a small comment on an otherwise lovely stay."

Little disappointed that they suddenly stopped serving food just when we went down which meant we had try and and find something last minute but other than that it was ideal for our needs. "Based on the property description, I was expecting something different. It is a room in an old house. The proprietor was kind, helpful, and accommodating. It was enough for one night and the price was right, but I likely wouldn't return. We had problems with the WC. The location was good, close to the train station and walkable distance to the seaside and city center. If you have an allergy to dogs, pass on this. "On the beach- it felt like people were walking on your front garden. Beautiful home and everything thought of- tea bags, coffee and wine included. Great communication throughout. Clean, washing machine and bleach etc all there. Loved it and it’s location. Parking a bit of a bother and luck (being in October!)"

"Amazing place!! We stayed here the night before getting the ferry but we would love to visit again just to stay. The reception and service was brilliant and the food absolutely delicious.
