"Beautiful old village in the gorgeous alps near around Mont Blanc. Beautiful drive up the winding roads. Clean, quiet, lovely friendly staff, easy free parking, in the town of St.-Germain-Les-Bains. The room was huge and had a nice balcony we could look out over another village down in the valley. We did not take the breakfast but it looked nice. We drove 20" to Chamonix to take the gondola (telepherique). Totally worth the ticket price to go to the top! Astonishing beauty and history....

"Check-in time is at 4pm. Staff comes in at that time. Breakfast starts at 8am. The staff that is there to check-in and provide service till 8pm was very helpful and friendly. Rooms are small as it seems to be geared for the skiers. Good location once you get there. Without a car directions are deceiving and the walk is long with trailing luggage. "Michael was great from beginning till the end of our stay. We stayed for 3 nights with our daughter and loved the fact that she had an actual bed to sleep in, not pull out sofa so that was a big plus. We had a nice balcony, room was small but very clean and cozy with great bedding and towels. I loved that our hallway had tea corner with mugs and kettle to boil water. Breakfast was light but good with indoor and outdoor seating, wish there were more fresh fruits and veggies. Overall this hotel...

"Cannot recommend. Very stuffy hot room overlooking a carpark. No air conditioning so slept with noisy fan. Horrible dirty walls with lots of quashed mosquitoes from previous guests. Beds uncomfortable with low quality pillows, plastic under sheets and empty toiletries in bathroom. Avoid - much better places in the area."

"We were pleasantly surprised to see the bus from Chamonix stop right in front of the hotel. The manager who checked us in was knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The price for the breakfast buffet was the most reasonable of our trip, and while we did not have dinner in the restaurant, it did smell good and was busy. There is a market nearby and the main part of town is just a 20 minute walk away, where the official start of the TMB, the Tour du Mont Blanc is. The staff was accommodating and...

"We had bad impression since we arrived. We choose this hotel because they saud they have shuttle bus. So when we arrive at train station, we actually called them to ask them to pick us up caz 2 of us had 3 luggages. The person who picked up the phone refused and said he could not come to pick up as he was the reception and cannot leave the hotel. And said we could walk to hotel only 400 m. So we walked up and the road is on the way up to the hill for the whole 400 m. Can you imagin 2 small...
