"Two black marks against my name on our arrival as we arrived a whole 5 mins before time - and I perched on a stool in the hallway to say hello to the dog to be told I mustn’t sit on the stool as it’s an antique!! They upgraded our room choice as it was our wedding anniversary - a kind and thoughtful gesture. They have a carafe and water cooler as opposed to bottle water in the room, an environmentally friendly option I liked. The town has ample spots for a.breakfast. beautiful pu kic gardens and a stunning castle to explore."
