"The room was very tired and dirty. The carpet was filthy and very stained. The toilet seat was yellow and sticky and previous occupants urine stains on the rim of the toilet bowl. My husband had to wipe the toilet rim and seat before we could use it. Disgusting. When we complained to the manager he shook his head and sent the young receptionist to speak to us. We asked to move rooms but they advised that the hotel was fully booked. We therefore checked out the following morning. "

"Although everything was perfect, the swimming pool was adequate but would benefit from a ramp so that elderly or handicapped people can step in more easily. At the moment, there is nothing to hold on to."

"A wonderful stay from start to finish. Hotel is immaculate, spotlessly clean and nicely designed. Our room was extremely nice and clean and looked after 2 adults and 2 children easily. Facilities are excellent with use of spa and pools. Location wise the hotel is perfect, extremely short walk to 2-3 beaches and a 10 minute walk to the town centre for lots of restaurants etc. Our stay couldn’t have been better, highly recommended."

"The bedroom, whilst basic, was clean and adequate for the purpose and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good."

"Great views of the sea but hotel is now looking dated. Room very good with excellent shower. Be warned the underground parking is very tight especially if you are not on the first floor. Would stay again if I was v traveling through royal. Excellent restaurant recommendation from receptionist , opposite casino 2 minutes away from hotel."
