"Expedia did not relay my original request for a twin-bedded room (we were two elderly ladies) and we were allocated VERY SMALL double bed which was totally unacceptable. Fortunately the hotel were eventually able to arrange a twin-bedded room by splitting a king size bed into two sections and the situation was resolved. BUT it could have spoiled our holiday had a solution not been found (the hotel was fully booked)."

"All the staff where polite and helpful, it just probably my over sights that I didn’t know this is a pub and a busy one, it was 1 in the morning with music playing that I emailed the pub to ask when things would quiet down and my young child couldn’t sleep. Even though the website says there is a fan in the room I had to go down to reception and ask for one. "Good position in the town overlooking sea. Balcony room a plus. Had to pay for drinks and each meal course as it was ordered. Food tasty but could not fully exploit the menu as the chef was ill one day. Breakfast ciabatta with bacon excellent. Bit mean with the pots of tea but that was easily resolved. All staff pleasant and helpful."
