Breakfast was a pleasing offering, providing many enjoyable options from attentive staff. We found the onsite restaurant quite convenient after a big day of walking. "The receptionists and other workers were very welcoming and professional and helpful and accomodating.I dont like the rule of the hotel about you cant bring outside food(cooked) like pizza and food in box etc., into your room.That is the worse rule you can have at a hotel without a proper explanation that makes sense.Was told guests complain about the smell.That cant be.Because if a restaurant is on property,how does that explanation make sense.If one is worried about rats and cockroaches...

"An older property but refurbished to a high standard. We chose this property as a means of visiting Edinburgh without he hassle of parking our vehicle in town. We took the bus into Edinburgh from Musselburgh. Very convenient. "

"Room was clean, adequate size. Lighting was a little low in both the bathroom and bedroom. I couldn’t adjust temperature and it was a bit warm at night. Staff were pleasant and helpful."
