I am a regular at Conrad properties. They are well-designed and aesthetically beautiful. The rooms are a step above most properties that they compete with in their segment. The Conrad Las Vegas is no different. However, The Conrad Las Vegas is a 5-star property with 2-star service. This property does not handle well any situations that are not part of their normal check-in, check-out process. The staff tends to react with "this is the way that things work" instead of being solutions-focused. There is also some inconsistency with how things are handled across the staff indicating to me that training is inconsistent or that they are having the same issues finding staff as a lot of service businesses. I love the Conrad Downtown New York but this is not the same experience as that. Summary: A great property from an "amenities" perspective but not from a "service" perspective.

The property was very clean. The rooms were clean and functional. Nice lighting in the bathrooms and by the beds. Nice casino and dining options and within walking distance to most things. We missed one night of our stay due to the airlines cancelling our reservations, however, and it was a slap in the face that we had to pay for a resort fee on top of the room charge when we didn’t even stay there that night and had to pay for another room elsewhere for something that wasn’t even our fault. I’m very disappointed Resort World would not give us any break for that.

They kept hard 4 pm check in even though rooms were available on a Wednesday. Charged extra for check in. Pillows were like balloons, very uncomfortable.

We loved everything about this place. They have everything you need and want. Just fyi Conrad does charge 150 a night incidental fee on top of 50 a night resort fee.

I just returned from 3 nights for 4 of us at the Conrad. It was awful. Check-in was truly absurd. We arrived around 7.30pm to find a long queue that was not moving. As we had tickets to a show my partner queued otherwise we would all have missed it. She waited for 1hr to be seen, taking up the evening. Online check-in did not work, and people in the queue were so frustrated some were doing slow clapping to show their annoyance. We tried again at 11pm for the other room and the queue was still about 20 people with two front desk staff - one doing the premium customers. The other check in staff would also sometimes take premium customers so our queue didn’t move. Everyone waiting was furious. I finally got seen at around midnight. Check in staff didn't care about the queue. Then the twin room I booked, and was visible in the APP, was given to someone else and I was initially told that I would have to share a double with my son (having paid $350 a night). It took 15mins of argument to get the staff to begrudgingly provide another option. Other things: rooms were never cleaned properly (dirty dishes left our entire stay, beds never made), went to use the pool at 5.45pm and wasn't allowed in as it closes at 6pm, drinks vouchers aren't usable if you have under 21's with you as they are only for the main bar, and our 19 year old wasn't allowed in - no other options. Wrote to the hotel for their comment, but they just gave a pro-forma response of 'thanks for the feedback'.

Obviously, this property is beautiful, it's pretty new. The facilities were gorgeous, the room size was really nice, and the bathrooms were great. We've been to Vegas a bit and have stayed in most of the hotels on the strip. The biggest complaint that we have about this one is it's proximity to the "strip" itself. When you go to Vegas, you always walk a ton, but the Conrad is wayyyyy down at the end of the strip. We Ubered everywhere vs walking out of the hotel to the strip or walking to the next hotel etc. Things are very expensive too - a simple meal for 3 (breakfast sandwich w/ 2 eggs and a couple strips of bacon) was over $40. It was closer to Fremont Street so Uber was a tad bit cheaper than further up the strip. The pools were great, perfect temp, plenty of chairs etc. All the staff we encountered was super friendly and accommodating too.

Beautiful new property on the north end of strip. Great pool area but arrive early as all loungers were taken fast. Great taco place across the street. Best tacos ever.

I will say this is the best vacation I’ve ever had! But the Conrad does not have as many things to do as other hotels and it is not directly on the strip you’ll wanna drive about 5 minutes to the strip. Parking prices are cheaper than any other hotel!

Overall great experience staying at Conrad. Awesome dining options, clean, great pool space and fun shopping. They do hold $150 per night for deposit when you check in though so just be prepared for that to hold on your card.
