"It is very clean, the staff are super helpful and you can walk to everything you need. They don't do room service but you can get food like pizza across the street late. I could have done with a couple more pillows but it's fine. The balconies all look over the sea and the air-conditioning worked well. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were lovely and soft. Blackout blinds great. Didn't eat there. "
"I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. "We stayed in room 220 on 1st floor. About 15 steps to room. (In 3 sections). No lifts. I have walking difficulties but steps we ok. Room clean & basic. Large corner balcony overlooking the sea. Air con in lounge.
On arrival Maria had left key's & instructions for us, easy! Pool area nice, clean & peaceful.
Other than breakfast option which we didn't use. There is no food or drink service on site. But supermarket outside was very good for supplies. For someone with walking issue...
"Immaculate public areas and reception. Staff were excellent, our ocean view room was even better than the photos suggested. The breakfast buffet was very comprehensive and varied. Having a beach literally on your doorstep was a lovely bonus. Already preparing a return visit!"
