"The room was spacious, clean with comfortable bed. Bathroom was good size. The on site restaurant was excellent value, and the food and beer were good. Staff were really helpful and English was spoken."

"This is just a fantastic stay. Easy access to everything in town, and right on the way from the GR65 to the Camino Frances. The host is fantastic and very responsive. She also has a crepe cafe that adjoins the property and it is immaculate. Breakfast was well worth the price. There are also bathrooms downstairs if needed. We loved this place and highly recommend it!"

"It was a wonderful pleasure to stay at Auberge Ostape. Our only regret is that we only stayed two nights. It is hard to get to and incredibly worthwhile once you get there. The staff is most gracious and the restaurant is extraordinary. We hope to return."

"Excellente adresse : dans les hauteurs du joli village de la Bastide-Clairence (canon by night également), petites maisons de style basque bien équipées, emplacement idéal pour rayonner alentour, personnel aux petits soins, panorama sympathique. Une belle découverte hors-saison (février). Nous essaierons de revenir en été !"
