"I really liked Arwana and would stay here again. It’s literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and baby reef sharks swim around happily. Perhentian doesn’t have any roads so the hotel can arrange water taxis. We did the Redang island trip and the snorkelling trip, both arranged by Arwana and they were both excellent. "The check in was smooth with welcoming. Friendly and helpful staff throughout the stay. Noor Hafizul, was extremely pleasant, and welcoming! He was extremely warm and helped us soo much with all the suggestions for the island and the hotel more broadly upon arrival. We were soo happy and impressed with the check in service offered by Noor Hafizul, thank you soo much! Farouk the hotel singer at dinner time created a very pleasant vibe and atmosphere, we really enjoyed the dinning experience, and having this live performance every night. The hotel itself has lovely beaches around it, with nice swimming facilities on site as well. The breakfast selection was also delightful! Room was as described, spacious and clean."
