"A surprisingly excellent stay! Given the price, we had low expectations, but were greeted by a spotlessly clean twin room. The shared shower and toilet facilities were equally spotless, with lukewarm water and decent pressure. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A rooftop seating area, reached by a steep black ladder, made a great spot for morning coffee. We couldn’t fault it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Note that air conditioning incurs an additional charge."

"Location was fantastic with restaurants, bars & shopping right at your doorstep. The rooms were very spacious & with direct pool access. The hotel is slightly outdated, but is kept clean & is well worth the stay. Would definitely recommend this boutique hotel to guests who want to be in the centre of all the action in Lamai"

"Enjoyed our 2 nights at Poolsawat. Room had a great view of the beach and pool. Beach felt quite private also. Staff were friendly. Water provided in the fridge. Transfers also available but a little pricey. Lots of road noise depending on which room you have. Also no hand towels are provided, just towels for shower and you can get towels for pool and beach at the poolside restaurant. 7/11 is right opposite, as is a lively little local fruit stall, and a local restaurant (opposite side to the...

"We had the best stay here, no doubt my favourite hotel of all the ones i have stayed at in thailand so far. Tried it out for 2 days, but extended the stay for a whole week. The kindest people work here and its beautiful, clean and so spacious! They are very helpful when it comes to scooter rentals, taxi booking to airport, etc. Wish we could stay longer! "
