"Great hostess clean fresh food"

"The front desk attendant was lovely she was very kind and informative. This place was cute and clean very simple not a lot of bells and whistles but the shower was nice and the bed was a little fine but comfortable the microwave and mini fridge was helpful and perfect for a quick getaway especially for the price my husband and I only had feedback regarding the deep cleaning as the ac limit had some mold in it and as an asthmatic that made me a little nervous. And behind the bed there was some dust and old bugs as well as in the shower. Beyond that we really enjoyed are stay and will be back and the restaurant next store looks a little like a dive bar but inside it's actually pretty cute and the food was very good and fresh and reasonably priced!"

"First of all, let me start by saying the hotel I booked was not the hotel I stayed in. I booked a stay in quality Inn hotel in Farmville. I called a weekend advance and told them that I had a small dog and I didn’t see where it said whether pets were allowed or not, and they said that was fine and I told him of mine and my girlfriends needs that we needed a first floor room due to health reasons I was told by the staff to just put it in the comments and it would be taken care of when we went to check in at 5 PM. We were informed there were no first floor rooms that one wasn’t safe for us like they said that would be the owner actually owned days and across the street which is a considerably less hotel moneywise and in accommodations I’m sure there was no break in the price the room the beds were completely uncomfortable no shower curtain to take a shower. There were people up till 3 o’clock in the morning roaming the property which made my girlfriend feel very unsafe all in all we had a terrible night and really something should be done about it"

"The 1st Impression the couldn't find my reservation. The room was not that clean with only 2 Towels. Someone obviously didn't do their job. We asked for the room to be cleaned 3 times via text, phone and in person. IT WAS NEVER DONE not once. The next day same thing , NOT DONE! I went to the check in desk to get more towels and asked for Room Service. If you expect or ask for room service DO NOT STAY HERE! That service is not provided daily. There was trash in the hallway too."

"We have stayed here multiple times. But this last time we did not have a good experience. The first room was dirty, had dead bug on the bed, and the shower was never cleaned out. Had stuff in it. We come there because it has been convenient to Hampden-Sydney. But we will find another place."

"A light breakfast at the coffee bar was lovely. Fresh muffins, coffee, yogurt, and fruit daily. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again."

"Lousy! (1) No internet. (2) No coffee in the room. (3) bathtub was disgusting,,, did not use for that reason. (4) "free breakfast" was pathetic - powdered egges on the weekend with sausage links but only hard boiled eggs ( which I do not eat) on weekdays. My friend was three doors down from me and told me he kllled three cockroaches in his room."
