Danau Maninjau is a caldera lake in West Sumatra, Indonesia. The cooler climate was a welcome feeling after months under the sweltering Indonesian sun!

I'll always remember the call to prayer coming from loud speakers at the mosque on the lake. After months of traveling in Southeast Asia, this has become one of my favourite sounds while other travellers might find it annoying! Wakey wakey!
