"This was a lucky and incredible find!! Summer in Lake Como is very busy and I was lucky to find this beautiful hotel. The location, Tremezzo is perfect. You are walking distance to bars and restaurants and importantly a stones throw from a bus stop and ferry stop. The owners and staff are kind and very welcoming. "Pure magic! We loved the property so much that it was hard to leave to explore Lake Como. Amazing beach bar and cabanas with excellent service. Complimentary kayak and paddleboatds. The front desk was beyond helpful and so patient going out of their way to make sure we had an unforgettable stay. We’ll be back. Also should note buses in the area don’t run on time and a car rental would be challenging with the super narrow windy streets. "

"Pros: Beautiful 15th century estate, renovated in most parts, nice staff, beautiful garden and outdoor pool, comfy beds, spacious bathroom. Many spots to relax by tall trees and enjoy the garden. All doors have security codes and the whole area feels very safe. Cons: Presence of Spiders and Mosquitos as expected from an estate in the middle of a garden, the restaurant needs a booking in advance and you can not just show up and that is understandable too, breakfast is good but not many options. "
