"Really enjoyable stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent. Clean and tidy. The hotel is well placed between Ouistreham and Caen making it ideal for visiting the local area. Shops are conveniently situated neaby. Would totally recommend this hotel. "

"No elevator, usually it says in the description of the property, they left that out. Showers were very small, and bed was lumpy. Breakfast was skimpy, but at least they had fresh squeezed orange juice, but it wasn’t worth what they charged."

"The staff at the Brit were extremely welcoming and the hotel room was clean and comfortable. Disappointed we were not able to have a hot drink in the room. Despite there being a kettle and tea/coffee they only provided small shot glasses for drinks which was extremely odd! There was also no fridge in the room which we needed to keep milk for our baby. "Right next to the port. Really clean rooms, particularly the bathrooms. Very helpful. Stayed one night after getting off the late ferry from Portsmouth. I had a problem with my car getting off the ferry. I had to hire a car for my onward journey. The hotel let me use their car park (which was secure and safe - Gated) to store my car until I came back to catch the ferry a few days later. They arranged a taxi for me to the airport to pick up the hire car. I cannot thank them enough for letting me...

"This is a very comfortable hotel. We stayed a second time as a couple, to use as a base to visit WW2 sites. Ideal. The staff are very welcoming. Great breakfast available, evening meal if requested. Bar. Near the sea with several restaurants near by, check opening times out of season. Highly recommended."
