"Everything was so great in this hotel. Top to bottom, the service, cleanliness, hospitality, friendly, comfortable bed, everything you can name it as a five star hotel. We have been travel around the world and have stay in multiple big end hotels, but this one is way too underrated. We would definitely go back again! Thank you for the wonderful memories this hotel brings to me and my family ! "

"Cute newly refurbished hotel. Fun cool design. Great central location. Friendly staff. Thoughtful touches like beach amenities, wine, cookies. Expensive parking which we did not utilize. Coastal rooms were large and away from street noise. I will stay here again."

"Horrible is an understatement! First we moved rooms because there was a musty smell and the refrigerator didn’t work and the room was absolutely disgusting. Once we were to our new room, we had no Internet service and no heater. The curtains were absolutely disgusting as was the bedding had a horrible smell. At this point, we were exhausted and just wanted to go to sleep and get out of there first thing in the morning. We let them know multiple times and all they did was hand us the manager’s phone number. I absolutely never leave reviews, but this one wasn’t necessary. Pictures are catfish at its finest stand clear of this place. It was meant to be a one night refresher from our week of Disneyland to unwind was a complete nightmare, stand clear!!! "

"This hotel is older but it is a great location. Easy walking distance on the upper end from restaurants and a beautiful cove below. The hotel provides chairs and umbrellas to enjoy. Our room had a great ocean view and they do allow dogs which is a plus. The rooftop bar is fun to enjoy a drink or food, and a nice restaurant below. Highly recommend but remember it is older, our room bathroom floor really needed to be redone, but clean. "

"We had an excellent stay at Laguna Surf Lodge. We wish we could give over 5 stars! Staff is extremely friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Valet parking is super accommodating and the room is spectacular! We really enjoyed the space and the wonderful view of the ocean from their fire pit area. We are already talking about coming back here soon! We look forward to returning!"
