Top Laguna Beach Hotel Reviews

Costa Art Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast was great! And having the parking available also made a Big deal. "

La Casa del Camino
8/10 Good
"Let me start with the pros - the hotel is in a great location, literal steps from the most stunning beach and has parking included. Staff were super friendly and were able to accommodate late checkout which was super helpful because we got stuck in traffic heading back to the hotel the morning of checkout. There is coffee, fruit and muffins included for breakfast which is a nice touch, and the hotel also provides beach towels and bottled water.
The con is that we barely slept a wink - the walls are paper thin and our room was next to the elevator/door to back of house so we were constantly woken by trolleys and trash banging by the door and other guests coming out of the elevator to go to their room. There is a 1/4” gap around the door so not only does it let in all the noise, there is also a bright light shining into the room all night. All that said, the bed was comfy, but at a minimum bring ear plugs and a sleep mask if you want to get a good night of sleep (and this is coming from a heavy sleeper).
The other down side is that part of the reason I booked this hotel is for the rooftop, and it was closed for a private event :("

Surf & Sand Laguna Beach

"Oceanfront room was worth every penny. "

Casa Laguna Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"We stayed for a night and it was pleasant. Didn’t use the pool or amenities so I can’t opine. The parking was tight but it was an insignificant problem. I left my medicine there but the staff couldn’t find it when I called and emailed them the same day."

Pacific Edge Hotel
2/10 Terrible
"Very run down and uncomfortably gross room. Similar to a poorly maintained college dorm. But, on the ocean, so I guess that’s why they can charge $600/night (incl $45 per night mandatory valet parking and $30 nightly bs amenities fee). I certainly would not stay here again and suggest you spend a few dollars more for a different hotel or just stay inland and walk a few minutes to the beach."

The Tides Laguna Beach
10/10 Excellent
"Super friendly staff who went the extra mile with recommendations and a hand written note. Steps away from the beach with plenty of beach equipment available to borrow. Steps away from the beach and free on-site parking. Couldn't have had a better experience!"

"HORRIBEL STAY"

Capri Laguna on the Beach
10/10 Excellent
"Wow! We had such a relaxing stay at the Capri Laguna and we are looking forward to staying there again next year. It was a small community feel, which made our stay feel personalized. The wonder Nick was kind and friendly. The front desk staff, Esmeralda was helpful and knowledgeable about the hotel and surrounding area. The coffee and hot chocolate bar was 24/7, which was very convenient. The complimentary breakfast was delicious! There were cold and hot food options. The hotel was clean and had nice amenities, a pool and laundry (for a cost). We did request a room with a safe, but happened to get the 1 room that didn’t have one. We were offered another available room once we mentioned this to the front desk. There are multiple spaces to sit and enjoy the view and the beach is just a short walk away down the stairs. "
