this very small Basque town is just so incredibly beautiful that you can't believe is real. the view over the Cantabrian Mountains and the all the Rioja vineyards is also amazing the picture was taken in a pintxos bar ..it's art what the Basques do with the food. "Beautiful converted convent recently refurbished to a high standard. Simple rooms with high quality bedding and towels.. Bottled water was provided as well as toiletries. Breakfast was good value and the lounges comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated The staff were very friendly and helpful . The hotel is just a few minutes from the town with bars and restaurants and a few metres from the botanic garden and castle viewpoint . "
