Lac de Sainte Croix

Considered to be one of Europes most beautiful river canyons, Gorges du Verdon is several kilometers long and around 700 meters deep. The water is truly as turquoise as in this photo, magnificent. I'd love to share some tips if I had any but sadly I didn't spend much time in this area. However, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is a stunning small village close to Verdon and is well worth a visit after a day exploring, swimming or climbing. #canyon #water #river #france #bucketlist

A Gorge-ous view from our little Kayak. The Lac de Sainte-Croix is a fantastic place to spend the day with friends and family. You can rent a kayak, pedalo or row boat and make your way up stream through the gorge, making you feel like you’re in Jurassic Park. There are sandy coves and beaches all the way along the 2 mile route which make wonderful places to stop and have a picnic! #GreatOutdoors
