Booked last minute for a 1-day ski trip, we loved this place. Great amenities, wonderful super friendly staff, continental breakfast was awesome (especially if you’re used to US continental bfast…). Incredible Gym area downstairs and lockers to store your ski gear (even after you checkout!). Only thing missing was a spa/hottub!!
Wir hatten 3 Nächte im Hotel verbracht. Guter Service, Frühstücksbüffet sehr gut, sehr sauber. Für die Kinder ein Spielraum im Keller (Tischtennis, Brettspiele).
Alles super.
Goeie plek om the chillen. Perfect gebied, Laax!

Simply attrocious
For $220/night you get a bare bones room, a breakfast with your choice of 1 type of bread, and all the room shattering techno music that you want. I get that people love to ski and party, but this place is like living in a college dorm.
And much like in college you'd rather party in your buddy's room and not your own. At Rider's Palace, the noise from the club in the basement is so loud that you don't have a choice. I get the appeal of a place like this ("ski hard/party hard"), but don't understand why anyone would chose it over the numerous other hotels in the area which provide easy access to the club, and a bed to sleep it off.
If for some reason you lose a bet and up in this abyss, bring ear plugs and download a white noise machine on your app. It won't block out the noise, but it'll make a dent it. A few beers before bed should also help.
Be aware however, that any movement towards the toilet (which odly doesn't have a full length door) will set off a light which lasts several minutes. So there's that. Also, the timed shower takes a bit of getting used to, so my advice is to constantly hit the button and hope for the best.
Service is hit or miss, as the front desk was staffed well less than 50% of the time that I was there. The bartenders are helpful however.

I could not go asleep all night due to the loud party music from below. And not only that, but at 02:55 in the morining (17.01.2016), the fire alarm went off as well and we got alarmed.
