"We spent a wonderful five nights here in a family room and it was a truly immersive rainforest experience we will never forget. You are deep in the forest and an abundance of wildlife is all around-including some in your room or on your terrace so you need to be comfortable with that. We saw many toucans, hummingbirds, howler monkeys, an anteater, possums, and many jungle insects right from our room and immediately outside it, The howler monkeys wake you at 5am every day with deafening calls...

A bit more expensive than a regular room but, OMG, so worth it!! Its large, has a beautiful view from the terrace, full kitchen, beautifully decorated. "Beautiful hacienda with gorgeous grounds, huge room and great air conditioning. Beds were comfortable and large. We were served a free hot breakfast on the veranda which was lovely and unexpected. The surrounding location is fairly industrial so we were surprised when we saw the huge gate open and the oasis within."
