"Le déjeuner buffet est excellent, il y a beaucoup de choix. Superbe endroit propre et relaxant."

"Incredibly friendly, right in the centre of Mijas. Really welcoming place to stay."

"The hotel was beautiful, spotlessly clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and beautifully maintained. Every little detail was taken care of, and the service exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing and unforgettable experience. We would definitely love to return!"

"Beautiful hotel, the Manero bar is stunning, rooms and hotel immaculate. Only minor was the hot breakfast buffet was cold."

"Another consistently excellent stay at The Residence. Super attention to detail. Rooms are excellent, the private pool is lovely, staff are attentive and the breakfast is amazing. Wonderful housekeeping lady and we feel safe and well looked after. Only request would be to have beach beds included or at a reduced rate for residents! "

"Slechts één nacht gebruik gemaakt van de kamer. ‘s Morgens wakker geworden met pijn in de rug en heupen vanwege de hele harde bedden. De kamer was schoon maar wat gedateerd."

"The staff and the property were excellent! Thank you Mateo, Olivia, Montaña, todos. Gracias."

"Hotel is gorgeous, love the decor and trendy 70s inspired design. Room was enormous and very well decorated, though lack of drawers meant difficult to fully unpack with only hanging space. Giant balcony which was in the sun all day and overlooked the pool. Easy 10 minute walk to the beach. I felt the service let the stay down overall. Whilst housekeeping were excellent, front desk/lobby staff were not forthcoming with checking in on our stay, helping with taxis etc. Bar service around the pool...

"The property was in an ideal location and the rooms were beautifully appointed. Camille, and the entire staff, went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy. As it happened, my birthday fell on a day we were there and to our surprise, Camille had the chef in the kitchen bake a chocolate cake for me for my birthday as well as a nice bottle of wine. We celebrated….absolutely something we’ve never run into before. It was a lovely stay…the only two items I would give just a “C” rating...

"Check in was delayed. Had to wait a long while. Our apartment was around alot of noise both the road ( singers to Belaluna restaurant) but we enjoyed the time we were there. Made the most of it. No washer in the apartment and it stated there was. Locks to windows broken and metal shutter half way up couldn't close for the evenings. Broken!"

"Everything is amazing!! And the cats that they have are soo cute!"

"The room was very small and there was two rooms in one corner. I felt not comfortable entering my room at night. Plus the staff lost my medication ice, I was very upset because the ice pack is very needed to carry my medication from one location to another. Now I need to go and purchase one to continue the rest of vacation."

"Nice clean rooms & good location. However, the buffet restaurant was terrible served raw chicken on the Saturday night. The staff said the hotel manager was unavailable until Monday, dreadful experience & very disappointed with the buffet restaurant, service & staff reaction. No manager contacted us during our remaining stay, despite us requesting a meeting, We were at the hotel a further 2 nights."

"This resort was excellent! Great food & drinks, easy access to loungers at the beach & pool, and very friendly staff that made us feel welcome. Very easy walk into beautiful Old Town for outdoor dining. Even enjoyed a scenic run along the boardwalk to puerto banus. Couldn’t have enjoyed Amare more! Would love to come back someday!"
