"Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. Once inside, we could see it was poorly built, the bathroom was dirty, and it appeared not to have hot water, although we never had a chance to find out for sure. "The property was beautiful with all the trees and quality of the room. I liked that it was small and quiet but yet in downtown LaFortuna. The room was very clean and there was laundry on site. Would highly recommend."

"The staff at the property were lovely and accommodating. Those who greeted me and showed me to my cabin actually assisted me with my overly heavy bag so I would not ruin the wheels on stones. My spot was small, cool, and what I needed to get away. I was traveling solo and access to small pools, a cute little balcony and pool table/entertainment area were nice added options. "What a unique stay! Bungalows are in the woods surrounded by nature. We felt secluded and enjoyed the wildlife all around us. The hiking trails were wonderful, and the staff friendly and helpful. The bungalows are clean and modern and come with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Also conveniently close to restaurants and shops. Loved it!"

"This condo was so cute, modern, very clean, just wonderful. It is in a private location but didn’t feel too secluded for female travelers. I felt safe, parking was easy, handicapped accessible ground floor. Met the owner, very nice man, he clearly takes lots of pride in his home and offering a great stay to his guests. There were a few snacks and drinks provided which was nice. Perfect location to visit Monteverde. Price was reasonable. I had NO bug issues here, which if you stay in Monteverde...
