"Solo traveler; staff was welcoming, warm & helpful; an incredible location & property; I stayed in a beautifully maintained traditional Japanese room with private onsen; amazing breakfast buffet with wonderful variety; they accommodated my solo reservations for dinner as a la carte, as the more traditional setting is for 2 or more people; easy to hail taxis to & from property, & also to & from Beppu Train Station; I highly recommend this resort if you’re looking for a bit of respite & pampering, & also to take in the beauty of Beppu!"

"This onsen hotel is well maintained and have beautiful view of Beppu bay. We enjoyed our 2 nights stay here for sure. As of food, the daily buffet style breakfast was provided at nearby sister hotel and dinner at 2 different onsite restaurants (one in each hotel). This hotel doesn’t have public onsen but you can certainly use the one in sister hotel if you prefer public onsen over the private one in your room. Staff here are very friendly and helpful with anything. The only problem is the location, it’s less than 10 minutes train ride to Beppu station with local train but the train is only every 30 mins or so."

"A lovely, peaceful place to stay in Yufuin, a bit outside the bustle of town but easy walking distance from the train station. The hotel is nice, the staff are very gracious, the meals were excellent, and the baths (3!) are wonderful. Highly recommended!"

"Theres a free to use onsen. Reception is at 12. Parking is really easy next door. I have no complaints. The room for 2 of us is spacious, clean and modern. Location is great also next to a mall. Definitely will stay here again"
