I recently stayed at this hotel and had a good experience from start to finish. The check-in process was quick and the staff were welcoming, professional, and eager to help with anything I needed. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable — the bed made for a great night's sleep.
The location was also perfect, with easy access to restaurants, transportation, and nearby attractions. I really appreciated the small touches like complimentary water, quality toiletries, and the overall quiet atmosphere.
Housekeeping did a great job each day, keeping the room clean and well stocked.
Overall, I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again!
I enjoyed my stay here. I stayed for one night, but wish I stayed longer. The location was great-pretty close to the areas I wanted to visit. I really enjoyed how close it was to the river and the staff was extremely helpful and kind.
For a solo traveler, this should have everything you need. It's small but had enough space to put your luggage. Mini fridge included with a microwave which is pretty sweet. Really loved the area around it. Had basic amenities in the bathroom plus some freebies. The only thing is I wish they had a free breakfast accomodation. Besides that, ive no complaints. Station to get to the Inari shrine is also close by. If you need to do some shopping, be prepared to walk.
Simple but clean, affordable, and well located option for staying in Kyoto. The staff seemed to be mainly Indian/South Asian and very fluent in English. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, yet easily walkable to public transit and major attractions. The only downside was lack of on-site laundry facilities (although maybe they had laundry and I just never found it?) Anyway, a great stay.
Staff was friendly and helpful. They spoke English so if I was not there, my partner that did not speak Japanese would be comfortable speaking with them. Located about 10-15min from Kyoto station was the best since we travelled out often. I would have to say, the bedding and desk had thick layer of dust. The facility did offer coin laundry which helped.
The hotel over all is great with a general complimentary breakfast, but the noise from the street woke me up every morning. The noise might be from the construction close by.
Not so good because despite nonsmoking room we detected stale cigarette smoke and it was musty inside.
There was mould on the shower curtains too.
There was no room clean up for the 3 nights we were there and rubbish started to build up. Even though we were told no room clean if less than 7 day stay there should still be clearing of rubbish…
