You get what you pay.

There's a lift in this hotel but you need to take the stairs to the 1st floor to use it. Hot water is limited as they are using solar panel to heat the water. WiFi is surprisingly fast with great connectivity.

2nd time visit here. Customer service still bad. No welcoming greetings, No thank you after check out. Dont expect much from them. Luckily the room and the shower was nice.

Beautiful stay

the check in was a breeze, although the front desk personnel is not that friendly. but from my experience in Terengganu, customer service in this state is not their best attributes, so already used to it. the lobby is pretty, but the lift is scary. they should invest to get a new lift. one tip for u guys. you MUST get a room with VIEW. when I enter the room, the view was spectacular. wide window is their strength as the view of the river and mangrove area is beautiful. and during the night, u can sleep while staring at the stars. the bed was comfortable. I love the shower head, the big square type, the one that u get only at 4 or 5 star hotel. however, they maybe could improve in their customer service and friendliness. no smiles when each time I enter the lobby. even there is a strict warning memo at the table saying not to do this and that. I also dont like the style of they put a Coway machine at the hallway for u to take your own hot or cold water. no water heater, mineral water or a small fridge in the room. location of the hotel is strategic, next to a coffee shop, nearby to food stalls and mini market. overall, i'm satisfied as I only paid less than rm100 for a room. i will come again but pls improve in customer service, please.

Reasonably good stay

I've booked a Family room for 5 nights and was given room 506. The room is reasonably clean and the price is competitive. The stay was reasonably good as compared to the many beach resorts that I have stayed in. The only down side that I experienced is due to the staff/management. The staffs are staying in-house and they are housed in the room beside 506. I can constantly see that this staff room is unlocked and best of all, I can smell heavy cigarette smoke and some days, the whole corridor of the 3rd floor where all the 5-series rooms were, smells like I am in a cigarette hotbox. I have complaint to the front desk, but the lady just give me a blank face and I didn't notice any improvement in this condition. Apart from that, I'd really like to be able to revisit this hotel and/or to recommend annyone to stay here.

It was a good stay..not difficult to find..only set back was the one way traffic makes yr trip to n fro that more tedious. Room was good ...nice shower..we had a room looking over the river that ws nice. Good well known Kooitiam nearby.
