"From the moment we walked into our room I absolutely hated it. It had such a bad smell, room wasn’t clean. It’s very old and outdated and the beds are horrible. You can feel the springs in the mattress.. avoid this place!"

"Property was pet friendly relaxed👍 we stayed in a cabin But..OMgoodness filthy, everything greasy plates glasses cutlery pots had to wash it all before using. Bathroom, toilet and shower leaked walls doors and corners dirty and mouldy and rotted. Under the bunk beds mouldy Aircon filters sooo dirty clogged the heater wasn’t working properly and when opened to access filter the front broke in pieces. Lounge was so broken couldn’t sit on it. "Séjour parfait ! Chambre confortable, accueil sympathique, piscine agréable et calme appréciable ! Le sentier qui fait le tour du golf offre des points de vue exceptionnels..."

"the free wifi didn't work ! very frustrating...don't advertise free wifi when it doesn't work"

"Central location walkable to dining zone and next door to City Hall and excellent tourism office. Grand historic building with museum quality decor, and lots of historic wall prints and memorabilia. Rooms comfortable, feel like you are back in the days when Mark Twain and royals came here to stay."

"Always clean & tidy. Thank you for another great stay"

"Excellent location and property"

"I was incredibly surprised how good the room was for such a reasonable price. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, clean and new at the time of our stay. We will be staying here again for our next stay in Ballarat."

"TV, microwave and kettle/toaster nice. Lights for some reason had no covers on them, too bright to leave on without the covers. Ended up finding them in the cupboard, carpet was a little sticky. Room wasnt available until a little after 2. Parking was limited car park was all filled up when we arrived back to hotel no where to park. We ended up leaving at 1130 pm to go back home. Would be suitable for couples or singles only staying a little while. Didnt suit us a family."

"We had a comfortable stay and it is an easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. We received complimentary drinks that we used at a neighbouring pub and as we don’t drink they gave us Coca Cola and a hot chocolate. Staff at the Quest also gave us a large umbrella each to use as it was raining when we arrived. Comfy room and easy access and very central."

"Nice to stay where the property actually lived up to the description. Clean, comfortable and spacious. A little dated but well priced for its age."

"Great location, staff helpful and food delicious. Would happily stay again."
