Great location but a bit noisy

The location is great, price is good, place is clean and comfortable. Only issue is it is an apartment building and the long term tenants across the hall are quite loud late into the night and sound carries in such an old building.

Appartment was very clean and beautiful with all necessary ammenities. However the flooring makes allot of noise when walking. Midnight you could clearly hear other people walking in their room/appartment. The self service check-in was great. If you arrive early they provide you with entry to store your bags untill it's time to check-in. The communication was also very clear and straight forward. I would definitely stay here again.

Our original room hadn’t been cleaned but we messaged the team and they upgraded us to a newly renovated room immediately. Location was really convenient for Wawel castle and old town. The 10am check out time seems a bit early but otherwise a lovely stay!

We really liked the location. Very close to the Old Town and with facilities nearby, but very quiet. The team was helpful and responsive. A few minor things we would change in the apartment (e.g. thicker curtains to block out sunrise), but these had no significant impact on our stay.

The room looked nice but the mattress on the bed was terrible, cheap and uncomfortable. I had booked two nights but left after the first night and booked elsewhere. I told them this via a message and heard nothing back.

Lovely character property. It is easy to hear lots of noises from neighbouring apartments but I was lucky that we had quiet mush neighbours. I wouldn’t want to be next door to a group of lads on a weekend trip , mind.

It was probably my error, but I did not realise that there would be no face to face contact or reception at the apartments. All communication is done via text or whatsapp. We did go to the office on arrival, but the people there seemed quite shocked to see us. The apartments are a good size and in a great location. Please be aware that customers are encouraged to leave a 5 star review to get a late check out.

Great area and aparment very comfortable. Had air conditioning and kitchen which was great. Be aware there is not a lift and we were on the 4th floor. GPS took us to a parking station at Hotel Maltański which is located behind our hotel. DO NOT PARK HERE. The cost to park was more than the hotel! We questioned the parking attendant but no english. Reception at your hotel will guide you to more affordable parking...which we didn't realise until too late.

in return for a positive review the property offered an hour longer extension on check-out which is probably how they got ratings as high as they did. Building was very old and the couch was destroyed. Mattress was severely broken-in and each person got one pillow which felt like it had been slept on for years—very lumpy. Had issues getting the TV to work as well. Location was the only perk.

The hotel is well located a stone's throw from the Wavel’s castle. That’s probably all you can tell about these apartments. Room have needed a renovation in last venture yet. Squeaking floor, puffed up on some places, creaking ancient doors, only ceiling lamp, no lamp on single(!) bed-side table, breaker at the wall beside entrance door - if you falling asleep you must stand up!, no fun in toilet, some problem with hot water, only polish TV channel, no one international etc…

Check in and communication with reception was flawless. However it was a very basic room. The mattress was quite flimsy and the bed protector made a rustling noise when you moved. A few slight changes to the room would have made a difference in our experience: a full length mirror, soap bar or shampoo, a hand towel in the bathroom (or at least a hook to hang our bathtowels so we can wipe our hands on them), a guide to use the TV (we were only able to access one Polish channel during our stay), a mattress where you dont feel the spring coils. Overall, the receptionists were excellent and I thank them for being so helpful and friendly, but the room was quite disappointing.

This was our second time staying in Krakow. We really enjoyed OTR. It was a spacious apartment that had a view of Wawel castle. The instructions given to get in and out were easy to follow. The location was perfect. It was about a 5 minute walk to the main square, and 25 minute walk to the train station. I travelled with my family of 5, (2 adults and 3 kids) everything was clean, neat and tidy. Good value for the price. The only disadvantages were hot water would go in and out. The shower would start , from cold to hot; and maybe 3 mins later turn ice cold. It was very hard to get the kids to shower because of the extreme water changes. Also, there was an odour from the sulphur from the water. Lastly, we had a larger stroller, and there was no lift, we had to carry the stroller up and down everyday, not a huge deal, but just throwing it out there to maybe request ground level if possible. Overall, we would stay here again!

On our 2nd to last evening, we came back and our (old style/vintage metal) key became stuck in the door after it was unlocked open. I’ll give credit due, their onsite maintenance team came quickly. However, he continuously repeated that I forced the key in the wrong way and that’s why it was stuck. Obviously that is not how keys work as the lock would not have opened had it been “backwards”. Irregardless of the accusation, he was unable to provide a working key for the remainder of the night (and into the next day). I had to sleep with my 2 young children with a hole in the key chamber covered by paper towel and our belongings barricading the door. Thankfully the deadbolt worked but we could not leave the flat. This was around 630p. The following day, by 12p no one had come around to fix the key and we still couldn’t leave. For the safety of my children and to not cut more into our holiday, we checked out early. I have asked several times for a refund of the last night due to the safety concern and not having a working door and key. However, the staff manager were very rude and insisted I “broke the door” and was “lucky” they did not charge me for the key and will not be refunded. To that note I cannot recommend this location. It is unsafe and they clearly take advantage of those who are not natives. It was a terrible taste of the country and I can only hope Expedia will take safety concerns like this at hand seriously. Die Unterkunft sehr gut gelegen, sauber, gut ausgestattet. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten (gegen Gebühr, dafür aber überwacht). Einkaufsmoglichkeiten in der Nähe. Kurzum - super Aufenthalt. Ein Eiwand: WiFi echt schwach.

Nous avons été très déçus par notre séjour. Dès notre arrivée, une odeur désagréable persistante se faisait sentir dans la chambre. La literie était dans un état très sale, inconfortable et même insalubre. Nous n’avons jamais rencontré de personnel sur place, et malgré notre signalement concernant le matelas, il n’a jamais été remplacé comme annoncé : seuls les draps ont été changés, alors que le matelas est resté dans le même état. Face à ces conditions inacceptables, nous avons dû écourter notre séjour et réserver à nos propres frais dans un autre hôtel. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet établissement. Fuyez !!!
