"I enjoyed my stay at the Garden Suite Hotel. It was in the heart of K-town, which was great because there were lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. We stayed for three nights. Parking is on the side of the building and is in an underground parking garage. Please be careful going down, as it is very steep. Parking seemed safe, and each slot seemed to come with a charger if you have an electric car. We had very minimal interaction with staff other than checking in. We got a one-bedroom with a king bed, but it faced an apartment complex, so we didn't have the nicest view. I didn't mind because I knew we weren't going to be staying in the suite for a long time. The room was clean and tidy but fairly small. This is not a luxurious hotel, so do not expect much. There are not many amenities besides the restaurant on the lobby floor. My only qualm is that the walls are paper-thin. I can hear laughing and talking from other rooms, so if you have a crying baby or a loud group, this may not be the place to stay. Overall, I would stay here again but it wouldn't be a place to recommend to others."

"I was surprised how accurate the room was, everything was as pictured, my only complaint would be the neighborhood. The outside photos were carefully cropped to just see the building and not the surounding area. It was not good, but the hotel was safe and very nice."

"The hotel was clean and nice. It's an old hotel with a lot of old Hollywood pictures. The restaurant and bar attached to it was great and the coffee place two businesses down was awesome as well. The rooms are dated because it's a very old hotel built in the 1920s but I like the architecture and the old feel of it. The AC worked really well it's a window unit. I love the room, feels more like a bed-and-breakfast room than a hotel room. I loved that it had four windows. The closet and restroom were small but functional and good. I highly recommend it would stay there again. The front staff was really nice and friendly. I love the old school elevator, it has a door that you get to pull up to get in and only fits three people but it's fast and not claustrophobic at all. Overall a great hotel"

"The staff is very kind but the area has a ton of homeless people and it has a bit of a smell in the area but the rooms are clean but our fridge froze all of our food… I would recommend if you plan on taking public transportation since there’s buses around and if you come for KCON it’s a quick bus ride from the venue but it’s not in the pretty part of downtown LA though so beware of that. Also the AC wasn’t on when we first got in but give it an hour and it’s perfectly cold the room we had was superrrr clean and room service did their big one seriously."

"I would go in September when it’s not raining we went in August hoping that it wasn’t going to storm anymore almost later in the season it rained every day so the tide was high and I didn’t fell safe having my kid surf. He was disappointed"
