Another great stay with Katija and Egon. Weirdly enough, same room as last time. While a bit older property, the rooms are rather spacious and very affordable. I love how quiet it is, yet you are less than 5 minute walk from old town Korčula. Super convenient to the ferry terminal too. Just know you have a lot of steps to climb to get to your room.

Loved our stay in Korcula Old Town

The apartment was very convenient for all amenities, a short walk from bus station, water taxis, and the ferry. We had everything we needed in the apartment and Katija was very helpful and supportive. Would highly recommend

the room was clean. the bed was comfortable. there was a double level suitcase stand which made it easy to store and access our suitcase and backpack. the location is so close to the ferry port! unfortunately, the shower was only had a hand held sprayer with no way to mount it on the wall. katja was very kind --she even gave us homemade treats! one warning --there are a lot of stairs to get to the room ( i thought tthat by not booking an attic room, it would be only one flight of stairs.)

Excellent stay in Korčula

Our 2-night stay at Apartments and Rooms Katja & Egon was wonderful. The apartment was clean, thoughtfully furnished with cosy touches, and equipped with A/C to provide a refreshing breeze when needed. What truly made our stay special was our host Katija. She welcomed us warmly and went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. When our ferry to Split was delayed, she was incredibly flexible, allowing us a later check-out and to leave our luggage safely, so we could enjoy our extra time in Korčula completely worry-free. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Old Town, ferry port, and plenty of charming cafés, restaurants, and shops. The apartment also offers beautiful views of the rooftops, marina, nearby islands, and the sparkling blue sea. I highly recommend Apartments and Rooms Katja & Egon to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Korčula.

this is my favorite airbnb/ accommodation that i’ve ever stayed at. from asking when im arriving and waiting outside to ensure a simple check in, to giving me suggestions on activities, saying hi when i see her in the morning, letting me check out an hour later since it was raining, to even letting me put my back pack in her apartment after check out and letting me borrow her umbrella up until i walked on the ferry, i’ve NEVER felt cared for like that by a host. she’s the kind of host that makes your experience 10x better, and im so grateful for that. can’t wait to stay with her again next year!!!

This is an exceptional property at a very reasonable price. You are less than a 5-min walk from the ferry terminal and a similar distance to old-town Korčula. Katija welcomed us on the steps of the building as we arrived. The rooms were a perfect size – VERY clean and comfortable, fridge in the room, and an A/C that worked WONDERFULLY (it was over 90F/32C every day) yet was not at all noisy, Surrounding area was quiet with zero crowd/street noise. Old-town Korčula was easy to get to and explore – bring good hiking shoes. MANY excellent restaurant choices, though reservations are a must at the best ones. There are 3-4 breakfast options less than 50 meters away from property. If/when I come back, I will stay there again as it was a perfect 4 days. I highly recommend it!

Check directions before you arrive

Must have had the wrong scale on my map as I thought it was further away from port than it was. I read that the hos had greeted people off ferry and i dialogues with her beforehand but no one met us and we spend a panicking 30 mins walking li no tgrough town in heat with our luggage. Not their fault but bad start to lovely stay in very central and handy location. Clean as could be. Great.

The location was perfect and the apartment was so cute! The view was amazing. Katja was so friendly and helpful. We really recommend this stay if you go to Korcula. The beaches/port and restaurants are all super close!

Katja was very personable and responsive to messages. The room was close to the port and old town and had a small fridge. En-suite was too cramped around the toilet area, you had to almost slide in around the sink to sit on the toilet. Felt like better choice and placement of bathroom fittings could have alleviated this as the en-suite itself was not that small. The bedroom window was only a short distance from the next building so when you looked out the window you looked at the wall of the next building and into the bathroom opposite that had clear glass window. After accidentally making eye contact with an occupant of the bathroom opposite early on whilst standing near the window we had the curtain closed the rest of the time. An additional thin muslin curtain that could be closed during the day with the main curtain for nighttime would hide the view into the other buildings bathroom during the day whilst making the room less gloomy. The room itself felt slightly cheaply finished/furnished. There was no cleaning, change of towels or bin emptied during the stay.

Ideal little room in Hvar

Our kind hostess met us at the catamaran. She walked us to our room - made us an apple pie and was very kind . The room was in a central location that was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed . Stairs were challenging but not bad as she offered to help with our luggage
