Park Shore Waikiki

"Paid for a beach view room and that is what we had. Wish we could've been down a little more to see the sunset from our balcony. We watched volleyball tournaments and even got to watch a movie from our balcony during Southwest's movie at the beach night. The hotel lobby was always clean and they have complimentary Sunbum Sunscreen and After Sun Lotion. Still haven't made it to the pool because there are never available chairs when we want to go to the pool. It seems early morning or late afternoon are the best times to go. We did have the fire alarms go off the first night here at 11 pm and when I looked out my room door water was pouring down from floors above. Not sure exactly what happened but we never left our room, but the next day, all the elevators were down and we had to walk down 9 flights of stairs to find new check-ins waiting in the lobby to walk up the stairs to go to their rooms. The got one elevator up finally by the afternoon and the elevators have been hit or miss until yesterday when they finally got all 3 working."

"The room was ideal; we had an ocean view and enjoyed the stay. Hotel (housekeeping) was great. Had problem with sink leaking and was fixed in a matter of hour. Highly recommend. Several restaurants inside hotel and close in proximity. Will definitely visit again."

"Second time staying. Great location, beautiful stretch of private beach. Get the impression the staff could be a little more attentive. Waiting staff morale seems low. Basic asks feel like too much work for them. On the plus side the room is comfortable and quiet but could do with a bit of updating. Feels a bit tired. AC in the hotel blasts far far too cold, imagine how much energy could be saved if they just set it at the right temperature. Poolside dining options could use some work."

"The staff were very friendly and made check in very efficient. There is a Starbucks, ABC Store, and an arcade (as well as gift shops) on the ground floor which makes it very convenient to find things you may need. The decor is beautiful and the rooms are very clean, modern with upgraded furniture and bathroom fixtures. I would DEFINITELY stay here again"
