We were the only ones there. The air conditioning didn’t work. There was no breakfast. There were bugs all in our room. Very disappointing. We only stayed 1 night and was told we couldn’t get a refund even though this place was not what it was suppose to be

bathroom. like that it had a curtain just in case there was walkers on the beach but two would of been easier to work.

The girl in the reception was great, good in English and very helpful! The rooms are quite nice, but the common areas neeed an upgrade, so does the beach area! But overall a good stay!

There has not been repairs done to so many things that the place is almost abandoned on the plus side the personnel are so warm and welcoming, I omitted to read the ratings and just looked at the pool and the ocean, I would like to thank Expedia for their help with all the bookings and the ease of using, thanks Eugene

Non je n’avais pas vue sur l’océan, l’hôtel avait l’air en travaux, en tout cas j’étais le seul client, je n’arrivais pas à croire que cet soit proposé pas Hôtel.com, le petit déjeuner c’était une tasse de café, une assiette avec un œuf au plat, un morceau de pain de mie. J’ai réservé et payé pour 3 nuit avec petit déjeuner, j’ai dut quitter l’hôtel après la première nuit, j’ai beaucoup voyage je crois que c’est ma pire expérience.

The pictures on Hotels.com must be at least 20 years old — the place doesn’t look like that anymore. It’s run-down, many facilities are permanently closed, the mattresses are worn, and the towels were full of holes and very worn. Overall it’s a hotel that clearly shows nothing has been updated or renovated for many years. It would go that fare and say that the pictures are a scam! The air conditioning was also terrible — it only had two settings: off or on. When it was on, it blasted full-power cold air, making the room freezing, and it was very noisy. That said, the location was good and the beach was okay, although the sun loungers and umbrellas were worn. We didn’t try the breakfast because it only opens at 8:30, and the “kitchen” didn’t look particularly appetizing either.

Bedsheets with stains and holes, towels falling apart, breakfast was to be avoided, the only thing giving this place a star is the staff that is super kind and helpful. The hotel is falling apart, is noisy and in very bad condition.

Please what ever you do don’t book this hotel. Read other reviews as well. I have been lucky enough to travel to many places and stayed at numerous hotels. This is by far the worse. We booked for a week and didn’t stay for one night it was that bad. The hotel pictures are nothing like what you see when you arrive. The reception, outside and rooms are all in disrepair. We explained to the staff that it was false advertising and they just laughed. We contacted Expedia immediately who at the start was really helpful and said we would get how money back. We had to book another hotel it was that bad. We are a party of 7 including 2 children. There were areas of the hotel that were dangerous for children. After the hotel agreeing with Expedia they would refund they then refused when we got home. We had to escalate our case with the Chief Executive and finally got our money back but had to pay for one night without staying. I don’t know how Expedia can actually promote this hotel. There were others there who had to stay as they had no means to book another hotel. There are plenty of really lovely hotels in Koh Samui give this one a very wide birth.

The hotel is not really maintained. If only they could clean all areas properly, it would make a big change. One of the biggest problems we noticed was a dirty pool and area around it. All towels were super old and 90% had big holes in them. Breakfast didn't look nice. Looks like the management doesn't really care about any maintenance or improvements.

Centralt läge med bra standard på rummen. Däremot dåligt underhåll av hotellets andra delar, tex där man åt frukost såg det ut som en nerlagd lokal och där man skulle sola vid stranden så var det jättemycket skräp, ogräs, ofräscha solstolar mm. Bra och trevlig personal dock!

Anlage soweit okay, einige mängel, frühstück gut, sehr netter koch , essen sauber, alle zimmer werden nur 1mal die woche gereinigt, nach beschwerde an der lobby gings dann auch mal alle 3 tage, pool sehr schön aber bei 120€ pro nacht lieber was anderes buchen

Despite a rating of 7.2, the hotel fell far short of our expectations. The property is old, worn down, and clearly in need of renovation. The breakfast was a complete disaster — so poor that it would honestly have been better not to offer breakfast at all. The staff experience was very mixed; some were helpful, while others seemed disengaged. On several occasions, staff were sleeping at the reception desk, which felt highly unprofessional. Overall, this is not a place we would choose again. The only real positive was the location, which was decent and right on a nice beach. We paid around €200 per night, which is absolutely not justified by the quality provided.

We stayed at The Samui Beach Resort from 30 July, and unfortunately the hotel did not live up to the description and photos shown on Hotels.com. After our first night, we paid to upgrade our room, which improved our stay. However, our overall impression is that the property appears to be in decline rather than being maintained to the standard presented online. The hotel has potential, but the maintenance is below expectations. Several areas are worn down, some facilities are not in good condition, and there is no usable beach area directly in front of the hotel where guests can relax. The pool bar shown in the listing is closed or no longer exists. The breakfast was particularly disappointing. The quality was extremely poor and far below what most travellers would reasonably expect from a hotel breakfast. The selection was very limited, and the overall standard did not reflect the quality advertised. Another inconvenience is that it is difficult to buy drinks at the hotel. There is no operating bar, and despite the room description stating that a minibar is provided, our room did not have one. This means guests have very limited options for purchasing refreshments without leaving the property. I would like to stress that this is not a criticism of the staff. They are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which is the hotel’s biggest strength. The main issue is that the photos and description on Hotels.com do not accurately reflect the current conditon

Die Hotelanlage ist leider ziemlich abgelebt - schade, denn die Anlage hätte wirklich Potenzial. Das Zimmer an sich war allerdings geräumig & sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist nicht zu empfehlen. Die Lage des Hotels ist super - es ist direkt am Strand gelegen, in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es einen 7/11 und einen super Obsthändler. Wenn man die Straße Richtung „Haven“ läuft, findet man unzählige Restaurants und ist mitten im Geschehen. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt finden wir das Hotel trotzdem ausreichend.

Nicht empfehlenswert

Zimmer war das Einzige was noch ok war. Umgebung ungepflegt und in die Jahre gekommen. WIFI wie vor 20 Jahren, meistens lief es gar nicht. TV mit drei Sendern. Die Strandlage war gut.

This property is only good for location on the beach. It is 30min walk from main chaweng nignt life and the rooms are so small. The air conditioning did not work, showers are dirty. The place is over all old and no gardening is taken care of. Staff are great as all thai people are.

There was no hot water for showers and the room wasn’t clean upon arrival, would not recommend this hotel.
