Comfortable stay but location not great

Loved the staff and the experience, felt very welcomed! However, there are really quite a few hotels along the beach which also seem very nice (we didn't stay in any though so am only guessing) - but I was quite disturbed by being right next to the main road. It is really right there and not with some space behind so the noises, especially during breakfast, is really very loud. Seeing as the rate is not that low for not being beachfront, I might go with a more simple room but better located (nearer the beach) so that the calm of the island comes through better

Sehr liebevoll und gut geführtes Hotel. Dem Gast werden alle Wünsche erfüllt. Frühstück war klasse. Kein überladenes Buffet. Man konnte individuell bestellen. Zimmer zur Bergseite sehr ruhig. Scooter-Verleih im Haus. Sehr unkomplizierter Verleih.

Nedlagd restaurang och oväsen

De hade lagt ned restaurangen för länge sedan men står fortfarande med på Hotels. Man fick ta av sig skorna utanför och gå barfota i receptionen och övriga ytor. Slött internet som ibland inte funkade alls. Tv gick på samma system och det var alls inte bra. Mycket oväsen från vägen så balkongen gick inte att vara på. Rummet i sig var ok och välstädat och personalen menade väl och gjorde sitt bästa.

Sentralt og billig hotell

Ligger sentralt til langs hovedveien. Kort vei hvis du vil gå til stranda. Er mopedutleie med ok mopeder på stedet. Super service hos dem som jobber der. Som ofte i Thailand er airconditionen bråkete og det er lite belysning på rommet til kveldstid.

väldigt prisvärt

Supertrevlig personal, prisvärda rum med bra AC och Wi-Fi och stranden är bara några minuters promenad bort. Minussidan är att hotellet inte har en pool samt att vattentrycket i duschen på 4e våning är riktigt dåligt. Men bortsett från det så är det ett riktigt prisvärt hotell!

Mysigt hotell, bra läge och helt underbar personal

Litet mysigt hotell med helt underbar personal! De var väldigt hjälpsamma och hade koll på allt, en i familjen fyllde år, så när vi kom från stranden så låg det en liten present på bordet från dem. Frukostbuffén var väldigt bra, om man önskade något annat än det som fanns försökte de lösa det undan problem. (Det fanns stekt ägg, bröd, juice, pannkakor, 4 olika sorters Thaifrukost-specialliter som tex stekt ris med kyckling, nudlar med kyckling.Fruktfat, hemgjorda kakor och massa annat gott) Rummen var stora och rena. C:a 3 min gångväg till stranden, som var väldigt fin. Vill man så kan man ta en promenad in till Saladan (ca30 min lugn takt) Tveka inte att boka här, du kommer inte att bli besviken, snarare glatt överraskad!!

Das ausgesprochen freundliche und äußerst hilfsbereite, super englischsprechende philippinische Personal. Super sauber, sodass man bedenklos barfuß läuft. Essen nicht probiert, da in Umgebung hervorragende Alternativen. Guter Standort für die Insel. Nichts negatives zu bemerken!

Starten på Thailandsresan.

Vi är nöjda med vårt besök på detta trevliga hotell. En nackdel är att det ligger på "fel" sida vägen. Mycket starkt trafikerad gata! För övrigt mycket bra läge nära strand och en liten tuktuk-tur in till Saladan med shopping och restauranger. Vi kan tänka oss att återkomma!

They call the hotel "home", and we agree completely. Extremely helpful and courteous staff who can communicate in good English. Everything seemed very well thought of. The inhouse restaurant serves delicious food. The location is very convenient, both close to the beach and a lot of restaurants. Lacks a pool, but proximity to the beach should probably make up for it. Definitely the best hotel we've stayed at in Thailand. Lanta Mermaid, and Mike especially, thank you for the generosity.

Fint hotell hvor servicen var god. Renholdet var topp. Litt liten balkong ellers ingenting å sette fingeren på. KOH Lanta er et rolig ferieparadis hvor du kan slappe av på fine strender og med et fantastisk badetemperatur i vannet.

Convenient and clean hotel for a great price

For a low price option, Mermaid was a great choice. Property and room was very clean. My only issue, not in their control, was the rooster that continued to do what roosters do all night long. Other than that, very great stay. Within walking distance to many restraunts and shops.

The hotel was extremely clean, but we had a mountain view room, chickens from next door woke us up at 6:30am and also there was drilling from about 7:30/8:00 every morning we stayed

Nice hotel.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Pros: The rooms are nice and very clean. The staff are great. Close to the beach (5min walk) Cons: No pool. No lift so we had to carry our cases from the 4th floor down the stairs.
