This hotel was superb. It's not 5 stars but it was so well maintained and met our every need at a very affordable price. The staff were wonderful and the simple breakfast excellent .Upgraded to a sea view room, worth the extra money. Perfect 6 days

nice hotel

nice hotel very close to the beach. Main 'town' with beach bars & restaurants about 15mins walk but some restaurants other way less than 5 mins. Good size rooms, bathroom a bit dated & shower didnt drain quick enough/floor not slanted enough so floor got flooded. Great breakfast included and very friendly & helpfull staff. Recommended

We had a wonderful time at Lanta Il Mare. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond for the guests. Bee and her family and staff are fantastic hosts. They really make you feel at home. The location is very walkable to many delicious restaurants and a beautiful beach. It was wonderful to have a pool onsite which isn’t the case with some other hotels in the area. We enjoyed many sunset cocktails and meals here with new friends! Stay here!!

We had a bungalow facing the water. There is a pathway between the hotel and the beach, but the view is still nice. There are shops and restaurants on the beach a few minutes walk away. We rented a scooter at the hotel in good condition. And travelled around the island. Fun times. I like this location in comparison to the south or north of the island. I found Salam Dan not to be in the same standard. Recommend staying in this area.

Very good rooms (depending in which part you had the room) we stayed in the D-section which was very good but for example the AB section was a bit more old and not as good but I also got the info that they have started renovation so maybe the older ones are getting a refresh soon aswell. Otherwise very very good and close to the beach

The room was excellent great location, beach access and the cleaning staff were excellent. Breakfast is limited but definitely adequate. The location on the beach to other restaurants was great. Food at the resort was very resonably priced and quality was excellent. The whole team at this resort is great, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Ytterst nöjda!

Vi var så imponerade av personalen på Il Mare. Det är en familj som driver hotellet och nästan helt uteslutande kvinnor som jobbar där. Dom flesta har varit där sedan dom öppnade för 20 år sedan och det kan man förstå då stämningen i personalen är perfekt. Läget var bra med stranden precis nedanför och en skön pool i anslutning till restaurang och reception. Tre minuter promenad från 7-11. Vi bokade alla utflykter, moped yra och vidare resa via hotellet, enkelt och pålitligt. Dom körde också taxi stälv när man ville testa en annan strand. Slippa behöva trixa med olika tuk tuk och taxi i olika skick var bra. Överlag helt suveränt!

Otrolig service. Väldigt bra engelsktalande personal som verkligen är hjälpsamma. Sköna sängar, rymliga rum. Bra dusch. Perfekt poolområde att svalka sig i efter en dag på stranden. Bra frukost. Ligger nära stranden. Rekommenderas verkligen efter att ha testat 4 olika hotell på Lanta i samma prisklass.

J'y retournerai c'est sur !!!

J'ai adoré la disponibilité du personnel, ils sont vraiment très sympa, la réceptionniste est adorable, les deux serveuses sont rigolotes et vraiment agréables ainsi que le staff du cleaning, on m'a chouchouté, ils étaient tous attentifs au moindre besoin j' ai adoré. Un petit bémol la plave était en train d'être refaite enfin l'accès à la plage avec des pelleteuses et camion mais bon c'est pas très grave car tout le monde va sur la plage à côté et 10 min à pied, et c'était en train de se terminer, donc ce sera fini quand vous y séjournerez, de plus ils faisaient un truc joli donc à mon avis ça va bien rendre...

Greit nok sted, hyggelige folk. Engelskkunnskaper begrenset. Potensial til p bli bedre og svarte ikke helt til forventningene. Men OK plass. Management feilet litt ifm sjenerende feststøy fra stranda rett på utsiden. De var ikke å få tak i, samt de mente dagen etter st det som skjedde på utsiden av tomta ikke var deres ansvar. Vel, når det holder flere gjester våken om natta gjør det jo det.

Great place for an easy, peaceful holiday!

I spent a solo vacation for 4 nights at Lanta Il Mare. This hotel is right on the beach, at the end of a strip of hotels off of Klong Nin Beach. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. What made it quite nice was the service. Hotel pickup and dropoff from Krabi airport was quite easy, and the receptionists are warm and friendly and speak good English. The restaurant food is good, and the staff are accommodating; for breakfast, they normally cook American-style breakfasts, but I asked for a Thai breakfast, and they fulfilled my requests. Plus, if you walk 15 minutes, there are plenty of seaside restaurants and other hotels where you can find food. The hotel itself is clean and nice, although it is worth paying extra for the sea view; if you don't your view may very well be a wall. The pool seemed fine as well, but I am more of a beach person, and it was clean and nice. Overall, a Lanta Il Mare is a great choice for a relaxing holiday!
