Nice hotel

Best hotel on Long beach, as you have the choice of beach or pool. Only problem, were a lot of guests putting towels out on the sun-loungers at 6am using torches! Breakfast was OK, with a nice egg station, but there was never any cheese during our stay. Well located hotel, with tuk-tuks & taxis outside 24/7, so there were no transport issues. Staff were very friendly, especially the receptionists, who always said, "Good Morning".

Great Hotel, good location

Great place to stay on a quick return journey to Koh Lanta. Had been to the hotel many times before, but never to stay as a guest. Room was a good size, well equipped and clean. Balcony was very nice and had a great view of the sunset. Wifi was strong, if that’s your thing. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Overall it’s a lovely hotel and has a great location. Well worth a visit

We stayed only one night. The resort is a bit old and needs refurbishment. The rooms could have been cleaned better and the resort in general needs an overhaul. The staff were helpful though. This was not the beach we really wanted to stay at since it was very quiet.

Beautiful stay

We really enjoyed our stay. First of all we loved Ko Lanta. This place was beautiful and clean. Lots of things in walking distance or a tuk tuk. They had tuk tuks right outside the hotel so going anywhere was easy. Awesome free breakfast in the mornings. They have on site dining and drink options. Nice pool, beautiful views. Really a lovely stay. One of the best part was they arranged for pick up for us from our ferry. Our ferry was even late and they waited for us. We did have them arrange a ride for us to Krabi when we left. It was super cheap but not sure I would do that again. Extremely cramped ride and very hot. They were late picking us up and even the hotel couldn't get a hold of them. Stressed us out a bit since we had a flight to catch but it ended up being fine. They told us it would be a 3 hour drive when booking it was only about 2 hours. So if for the very cheap price you can handle the cramped ride with every seat full and no space for luggage and the heat go for it, if not maybe find another option.

The hotel location and beach are incredible. There are not a lot of dining options (one great restaurant next door and the hotel restaurant). The hotel restaurant was very good and we were very satisfied. The 7-11 is about a 15 minute walk away. Not that easy, but a taxi can take you. More lounge chairs are needed for the beach and pool. I do not find it acceptable to be at a resort and not be able to find a place to sit. If WiFi is important, do not stay here. Our WiFi kept disconnecting every 5-10 seconds and was inconsistent throughout the resort. It seems as if they do not have one consistent WiFi system and everywhere you move you need to connect to a new router with another password to enter. If you are between routers, it will constantly alternate between them dropping signal each time. The wireless speed when connected was also very slow. Several times I received a message that I could not connect because there were already too many other devices connected. Overall, it was a good hotel for a short stay. It would have been very frustrating for longer than a few days.

This hotel is located at the beach but little away from the main road. But esay to walk to the road if you want or rent a motorcycle.

Great stay with beautiful beach vibes.

Beautiful resort. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast is great, the room is clean, the shower is hot, the towels are soft and the views from every room, either the garden or the sea is aestheically pleasing. There is also a tuk-tuk outside for whenever you need a lift around the island.

Beautiful beach. Awesome pool. Wonderful property. Chaba and staff are extremely welcoming at breakfast each morning. A great place to unwind and detach from reality, and a five minute tuk tuk ride into town for decent street food and amenities. Many restaurants are walking distance. Our teenagers loved it here, as did we.

Overall a pretty nice property. Beds were very hard. But we asked about a mattress topper and they provided. Beach Bar has a 4-7pm happy house 2 for 1 drinks which is nice to watch the sunset.

This hotel was probably great in the ‘70s. It is a little old and tired now. It’s just okay. If you don’t want too much but a bed and a great view of the ocean, it will do fine. If you’re looking for more, look elsewhere. The breakfast isn’t anything to get excited about. The staff is pleasant but I wouldn’t say friendly. To be honest, we stayed one night then found another place for the rest of our time.

The beach front villa is a room by the beach not a villa. There is no privacy as those heading to the bar/restaurant have to walk right past. Hit water wasnt working but this was fixed swiftly once reported. The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together with a sheet over the top creating a dip in the middle. Bed was uncomfortable as matress lumpy. A topper would resolve this. Breakfast was mediocre with many items running out early and staff taking a while to replenish. Overall just an ok stay nothing special.

We were so excited to get to this property, but we were pretty disappointed with the room that we received. It was super dirty, and the curtains were growing mold. Additionally, the mattresses were terrible to sleep on. (I think they were box springs?) anyway they were two twins pushed together to make a king so it just kept sliding apart. The Q-tips were reused and never replaced in the bathroom when we got there. Room service never cleaned the place. They only replaced our towels. Additionally, the pool was pretty small compared to the photos. Buyer beware! Still looks like one of the nicer places to stay at, do your research and book early!
