"Anda Lanta was quiet and peaceful. The resort is off the beaten path, about 30-40 minutes south of Saladan Pier. The resort is situated on a beach, which makes beach access convenient. The views are great and the Pearl Restaurant was very good! Lastly, the staff were extremely helpful. Our ferry from Koh Lanta to Phuket was cancelled through the night. We asked the reception, and they called the ferry service, confirmed the cancellation and refund, then scheduled us a private van from the resort all the way to Phuket."

"The Alama was great all around. Some hotels claim to be something they are not but the Alama was what is said to be and more. The pool was amazing. The view can’t be beat. The staff is always curious trusting and helpful. We immediately extended our stay from 2 to 5 nights and are sad to leave "

"Great location on long beach with a nice little pool overlooking the sea. More sunbeds would help here as there are some selfish people who "reserve" the sunbeds by placing their towels over them early in the morning although not actually turning up until almost lunchtime. Overall a good place to stop on what has become quite an expensive island to stay"
