"The room was spotless, with a big bed and all amenities. Cleaning when requested was also excellent. The balcony was lovely, overlooking coconut trees, with space to dry clothes after a day at the beach. The real highlight of Choengmon Residence was the staff. They were friendly, thoughtful, and made the best pad thai on Koh Samui at the restaurant downstairs. The mango shakes and Thai tea were also delicious!"

It is a perfect escape but there is also easy access to the mainland if you wish to dip into the action. There staff are very warm and helpful, particularly on reception and customer relations "

"Great hotel on Cheongnom Beach. Clean rooms with outdoor bathrooms and pools if on ground level. Staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. You can have dinner on the sand if you desire. Breakfast is served overlooking the beach. Beach is clean and water nice. Would highly recommend. "

Beach is small and the sea is rocky but that’s not a negative comment, just factual. Pool area is lovely - didn’t feel crowded and always loungers and umbrellas available. The hotel has a shuttle bus into Chaweng a few times a day, which was great as made going in very straightforward and convenient. The hotel is a little further out of the hustle and bustle...

"We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, its is an older resort but is very well maintained, more traditional Thai. Comfortable bed, Staff fantastic, good selection at breakfast the fresh juice was great. We had our own pool which was nice to cool off in after being at the beach all day, just needs some kind of rail to make it easier to get in and out of.
